Exactly.

YEA, THERE is a time and place for iso's, but that as the majority of your offense is just not a good thing, especially if you are trying to promote team play... and yes he needs to get in better shape.. You have to be in great shape if you are going to play both sides of the ball consistently...

Knicks were not dumping the ball into melo.the short time amare & lin were out there together with tyson & shump. Melo iso started once amare & then lin went out and we were left with no competent pgs. Remember beating indy twice? Yes that came under melo anare & lin. When you have landry fields, jeffries and an erratic jr as you other scoring options dumping the ball into Melo because your best option. And it clearly was as it lead to melo averaging 30 to end the season and an 18,6 record. A stretch of winning that we havent seen since jvg's knicks

I think he wanted to come, but knew it was going to be a big project, in which he wanted full control over.
From deciding who to keep on our roster, who to target in FA, who to trade with, players to target in trades, adding the role players and no 2nd guessing by Dolan/management.
He wants that big price tag though and knows it could result in a failure to his legacy.

You really don't want PJax going to Brooklyn, trust me. Its bad enough we were his whipping boys when he was in Chicago. Keep him out west.

That stretch with Melo playing at unsustainable levels is fools gold. There's no way he can sustain that level of shooting efficiency that he displayed during that short stretch to end the regular season. The only TRUE way for this team to win is if Melo finally accepts a TEAM concept as he was asked to have on the Olympic team and from every other coach except Woody. I'm not anti ISO, that's just silly, but you have to play ball as a team too. This is why Amare couldn't get going. You lose everyone else on the team when Melo is taking a ton of ISO's.

Is Phil getting on the court??..Phil won't sign anywhere unless it has two top ten players ready to play for a Championship...If the Nets get two top ten players, Phil's not the guy I'm worried about....

Jackson said that the reason he didn’t take the Magic job is that it was too far from his home in Montana. Reports indicated that one of the issues between the Magic and Jackson was that they wanted him in the office and he wanted to telecommute. 21st Century and all.
