quite funny here now Shumpert is hurt and recovering all thinks S.Nash is the quick fix answer to NBA Title
Oh man we're in trouble on this board.
Sometimes the best deal to make is NO DEAL at all
Knicks going to bl_ow up team again and fans will be sorry same ones craving quick fixes
We just won the Larry Bird rights & neither Novac or Lin may be here! Include Shumpert missing to another NBA Team.
We all love Amare so much, it dont matter this man cant play a full season nor help this team unless KNICKS already a very good team
oh well
I'll ask the same question I've asked a number of times regarding Nash: How do you go all out to acquire a player who became a superstar in
a system of play that your present star rejected to the point where he literally shut down his effort because he was unhappy with how the coach wanted things done?
I'll ask another: How do you expect to compete when you'll have three players- Nash, Amare, and Anthony, who are known to be below average defenders, on the court at the same time for long periods of time?
Heck- let me keep on going: How do you expect Nash to operate in a system where it will be conceivable that he will not have solid 3 pt shooters to spread the floor and give him the room he needs to operate and the targets he needs to be effective?
Honestly, this is one of the most idiotic things this team has thought about doing in a long time. It is purely reactive and makes no basketball sense.

This whole thing feels like a panicked response to the Nets getting Joe Johnson and maybe being a .500 team next year.

Anthony (can) plays defense.
Melo did not reject any system that included Nash unless one is insane enough to believe that TD and even Super Jeremy was Nash-lite
Nash and Amare did not play D before and did pretty well
