Maybe, I think there are teams that will put together a better offer to rent Dwight for a year then Brooklyn can put together.

I think you're right that this would be enough to keep Dwight in LA. I read on ESPN that Nash is trying to get Grant Hill to come to Phoenix as well. Grant could be a nice addition to a contending team.
Grant would be the perfect sf for that team

Right now I'm skeptical of even Lin. Until he re-signs, there is still a threat he wont be here. And even when he is back, if we can't get a starting sg, a solid young backup pg and frontcourt depth, we'll be the same mediocre team we were last season, which isn't something to brag about.

Dude calm down we CAN match any offer, doesn't mean its a slam dunk until it happens. People thought we were keeping Fields and for the minimum and look at what happened. Things can go wrong and unfortunately it happent a lot in Knickland.
