Good riddance.

EnySpree @ 7/9/2012 8:53 PM
lock, lol
loweyecue @ 7/9/2012 9:08 PM
Bye bye dumdum. Go dribble under the basket and then back out without even looking to pass for some other team.
Solace @ 7/9/2012 9:33 PM
Don't be dicks. Toney Douglas was underrated on this board. He was a good player who just had some inexperience. I think he may still have a decent career.
Gymkata @ 7/9/2012 9:34 PM
By all accounts a good guy, too. I sincerely hopes he finds a rebirth in Houston.

he'll hit like 5 3pointers for 1 game next year, and it'll be against the Knicks lol

gunsnewing @ 7/9/2012 9:41 PM
That should go up in the MSG rafters as a banner RIP
gunsnewing @ 7/9/2012 9:43 PM
oh and can't wait to play Houston. Hopefully TD is starting at point. We need as many easy wins as possible

+1

douglas could be good if he was actually just injured with his shoulder and can recover.

before that injury he was a upcoming player, who was tenacious on d. how could we hate him then?

then he seemed to lose his confidence.

a new situation made sense for him. he was hard working and a likable player before the injury.

i wish him the best.

But we will win because of his turnover in the final seconds.

ouch...hes a human being...he always tried his best and he never complained...a class act...and i hope he resurrects his career
GustavBahler @ 7/9/2012 10:06 PM
I know he was hurt but TD making bad decisions had nothing to do with his shoulder. His shoulder wasn't telling him "dribble around aimlessly then launch a brick."
Moonangie @ 7/9/2012 10:09 PM
I've been waiting for this day for a long time. GOOOOOOD RIDDIDDYDANCE!

Please don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Allanfan20 @ 7/9/2012 10:10 PM
He's a shooting guard in a PGs body with a shoulder injury that prevented him from being able to shoot consistent. No excuses, but cut him slack. He was what he was. I hope he gets his ish together and turns his career around. He can be a real nice player.
PresIke @ 7/9/2012 10:11 PM
also, douglas was pretty good from three, as i recall, for a bit before the injury too.
Mray20 @ 7/9/2012 10:11 PM
Tony Douglas turned into Mardy Collins 2.0 he fooled us too.

I agree, he is just missing some confidence with the right sytem/team that fits his skills and lack of.
It is like when we the entire league said Channing Frye was a bum, he found his role, team/system, and players to mesh in with his skill set on The Suns *Nash helps of course*

I can see him fitting perfect with HEAT if he regains his confidence and shot, could be a steal.
He doesn't need to facilitate there with Wade and Lebron, with plenty of shooters to space the floor for him too.

gunsnewing @ 7/9/2012 10:14 PM
Toney Douglas turned into Landry Fields or is it the other way around. Who is the plague is it Jared Jeffries?
CrushAlot @ 7/9/2012 10:41 PM
I hope he does well. He is a high character guy with a tremendous work ethic. Hasn't been the same since his injury. A new situation should be good for him
ChuckBuck @ 7/9/2012 10:47 PM
A good guy, was once a solid defender and tied for most 3s in a game by a Knick. That said I won't miss those cross court passes to the other team. PEACE OUT TD!!!
