Sorry got to talk about this here, on nba forum. But like we're happy about Knick hoops moves improving
its Sad the day is giving other news regarding once again Penn State.

FREEH Report vs Sandusky Penn State Allegations:
http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2012/07...

The Freeh Report officially told us all what we've been hearing in the disturbing college football case (correct typo)
today earlier actually Thurs. 7/12/2012

The Gloom and Doom details of how Coach legend Joe Paterno the father of US Sports standards and ethics got it all
shot down today & rightfully so in how Joe Let 1 man rape bunch of helpless kids /young boys on Campus called Penn State
or 'Happy Valley'.

Jay Paterno is an Idiot defending his dad, what more can you say eh ?

Jay Paterno espn interview and comments makes you really wonder eh ? and also tells us alot about the whole
Paterno family period.

All in all Paterno deceased now has his son Jay Paterno like many Joe defenders, Jay tries to defend his dad on ESPN
with combative statements vs the Freeh findind which made sonny boy Jay Paterno look like a damn fool & futher even
cemented in every knowledgable mind that Coach Joe Paterno lied and protected the name of Penn state.

All in all more will be forthcoming as those people involved will get lawyers to prove whom didnt know what ?
was going on as far as responsibility to come forward and save the kids, young boys and children in desparate need of help.

However in summary this process show how GUTLESS a big institution and folks with a little power, and right to do what is right
failed terribly and they all may end up going to jail for disregarding ethics.

They all will rot in their own minds and whichever attourneys stories are made up to save the idiots whom destroyed lives and
Penn State university.

Wouldn't you defend your recently dead dad? Yeah, Joe was evil when he turned his eyes away from all the devirginized buttraped boys screaming next door. But that's done. He died, and probably died of shame and heart attack from all the guilt he carried all these years. Besides, this is Knicks forum, not NBA forum.. should be moved off topic.
earthmansurfer @ 7/13/2012 5:19 AM
I personally would NOT defend someone if they did something very wrong like that, no matter the family connection. Don't stop loving them, but no, you don't defend that. Wrong is wrong and if they are your family it doesn't make it the right thing to do. Look where Patriotism and Nationalism has led us... And yeah, his guilt, etc. probably contributed to his death, but it didn't end there - his spirit guides probably had a heck of a life review for him regarding that part.
Ira @ 7/13/2012 7:27 AM
Give the guy a break. He's defending his father. It's a very tough position to be in.
Jmpasq @ 7/13/2012 7:32 AM
Really, going to get on a guy for defending his father who isnt there to defend himself. How would u feel if your family was ripped to shreds on the news everyday. You might want to defend its honor.Paterno is trash but Im not going to get on Jay

The ways of mankind getting better as a whole goes through every man getting a better person.
We as a race of humans have long ways to go. And when most of us getting the power above others we often regress to the state of wild animals.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
This is not the failure of one man, or even a group of man, but the failure of the system which should serve kids but in fact served the bureaucracy.
I do not think Pen State is the only place where this crap is happening so opening all up can save many innocent souls elsewhere.
Jmpasq @ 7/13/2012 8:15 AM
If only Michael Jackson had a friend like Joe Paterno maybe he never would of gone to trial

true, we all know it should be off topic Martin or Andrew will move it (cool)
that aint the point here. Point is what happen today & yes in sports there are LOTs more important things to kindly acknowledge Good or not than
stuff we been talking about with knicks of course, thats all nothing more nothing less my brother !

This isnt 1st time off topic mentioned if relevant in whats going on now in America, kindly you should know that !

IT wasnt mentioned today since its primary good sport news we're talking about (knicks, baseball new)
I dont think topic was ignored but I said something here bout' it dont regret it, Many peeps have
some feelings on the topic though a bad horrible circumstance for our kids, peeps families and our
great country united states of america

I got not no prob. with that we all got no problem with that, my post wasnt to attack Jay its to state he didnt do "ANY Good" in Ton of his Pro Joe comments
to shift blames against the Paterno family away from the incident.

Once again you're missing the point!

Say something Jay fine. But alot was stated from the son and this is a touchy case. Say things keep it direct and short about your father.(outside penn state)

I dont care what you're saying bout Jay going overboard about his dad or 'We' as he stressed didnt know alot of whats going on with kids being molested/raped

Fact of matter is sometimes the less you say the better perception of what is really the Positive if any J.Paterno tried to do
and accomplish outside of Penn state

Dont ever tell me that Mr. Jay Paterno wasnt going to give his dad a push before the incident and all the great things human things he done
it did not come out like that, all Jay's remarks was on the case the absurdness of Freeh reports in sarcastic way Jay Paterno had to re-iterate the blames
and shift any of if (0 % Paterno) off his dad to the schools administrative peeps

I dont know what the devil many was listening to, Go back and listen listen the entire interview and comments
I dont see it as any attack on Jay or the family of Paterno entirely but the dis-regard of the victims is what came out from JAY Paterno side remarks

If you are OK with that ?
then all the heavenly power to you about it

This aint about defending a dad who unfortunately passed at a tough time for everyone involved with the case.

This country sticks together at times GOOD or BAD with things such as 911 and circumstances, deaths or assassinations

The Penn state saga is up there in that sentiment not whether a freaky 'Statue' of Mr Paterno is pulled down, or NIKE Ads removed not whether
a son or son's family want to get out that Joe Paterno was ALL Good despite what happen to the unfortunate victims whom all are scarred forever.

If you cant see that I dont know what's going on here today

He just afraid that "the dead main is always the liar" syndrome will kick-in and put all the dogs on Paterno.
The fact is he was also a human and has faults as all of us.
The truth is the human life/wellbeing is way more essential and important that money, sports, fame, school, religion, patriotism, country, race, gender, sex orientation... whatever.
But when we - The People start putting too much value into all this crap the human being became the first thing to spare.

right

Feel a little bit for J.Paterno whom called him "Joe" not dad on interviews
however switch the roles , If it was me and my dad was proven accomplish to hideous act like Rape, even If I had to say
something in defense, I'd say it short then Shut up

How can you defend or what is there to say if you're in those shoes ? Jay says way too much on Joe and not enough to the Victims
the real tragedy there.

Fact of matter Joe Paterno was an accomplish to rape of young men/boys
In-excusable and now unfortunately he passed away it doesnt matter he passed

There is nothing really to defend. Paterno ran Penn State
*End of story
end of young lifes tarnishes and violated 4ever to we're all gone long from this earth
