How bout them Knicks? I think they will win the next 5 chips in a row!
Hoping that their moves don't pan out. King either will look brilliant or like isiah.
I still think the Balkman draft was an idiotic move by IT.
Hopefully, Shump's knee is 100% by March. Hope he doesn't try to come back too soon.
Ahh the NJ Nets...where do I begin with their sucktitude?
-Armen "The Hammer" Gilliam, remember him? (RIP)
-Kendall "The Myth" Gill
-Jayson Williams, likeable dude from St John's, unfortunate career and life incidents
-Kenny Anderson, legendary Queens baller, never quite lived up to the hype
-Derrick Coleman, poster boy for great underachievers. Once called Karl Malone an uncle Tom
-Yinka Dare. Need I say more (RIP)
-Sam Cassell AKA Gollum AKA E.T.
-John Calipari, stick to the college ranks
-Stephon Marbury, self explanatory
-Dennis Hopson, drafted over Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, and Kevin Johnson
-Drazen Petrovic, one of the few Nets I give props to. Fearless, went at Michael Jordan shot for shot. (RIP)
-Rod Thorn, Byron Scott, Jason Kidd era (never happened in my mind)

Drazen was supposedly the one player MJ did not like to guard. I used to love listening to his broken english trash talking: "In face of yours!"

Didn't happen for most of N*ts fans either, apparently.

There was a lot of stuff out there about how inept Scott was as a coach of the Nets. There was the story of the scouting tape where his assistants set it to a certain point, gave it to him and later found that it never moved. He was famous for his naps. Friends of mine that were net fans claimed that he substituted at almost the exact same time in every game. I think Jason Kidd had a lot to do with the success of that franchise at the time and I think he played a big role in leading practices and getting his teammates ready to win. I am glad he is a Knick.
Report says Lopez's foot is 90% healed. Chronic?
Prokhorov the new Boss?

Boss, my ass!
The tall Russian couldn't buy the Boss Steinbrenner's bluster and moxie with all that Gold he owns. There will forever only be one Boss in New York, and sorry Mikhail, you aren't remotely in the vicinity.
If he wanted to be the King Russian Douche Owner of NY, he's more than welcome.
I really believe the way Clyde played after Reed went down was possibly the best all around play we've seen in a Knicks uniform.
The N*ts do suck, though.
And their owner is now firmly established as the gold standard of super-wealthy idiocy. He is rapidly making me happy we have the owner we do.
Almost.
