Lin had a better TOV% per 36 min than Rondo, Rubio, Kidd and Nash.
Lin also had a ridiculous 7 FTA per 36 min. Meaning he was very aggressive going to the basket.

Miniscule sample size. Better to use their career TOV%.

Nash 19.5%
Kidd 18.9%
Rondo 20.2%
Rubio 22.2% (Rookie year)
Lin 20.9 (Only 64 games played, not even a full season)
Williams 16.6%

Curious that you didn't put the Gold Standard of the current crop

Chris Paul 13.0%

Just for shyts and giggles

Raymond Felton 16.4%

This is exactly where I believe the Knicks will miss Lin, because he had the potential to be our third best offensive option, as well as diversify the offence by getting to the rim from the perimeter (something that I don’t see any of our current players doing as effectively) while Melo and STAT work inside.

Felton lower TOV% is not surprising, since he also have a lower USG% for his career.

Jeremy Lin 25.2%

Lin kinda sticks out like a sore thumb no? Shouldn't a point guard distribute not try to score? Unless your name is Chris Paul, Deron Williams, or Russell Westbrook there's no good reason for your Usage % to be that high.

Like a sore thumb??? He's usage was only beat by Rose and Dwill during Linsanity.

His last 18 games though, when his usage was in line with those point at 20-22%, about 15pts and 7ast.
I don't see they crying about Lin being gone.

Almost like Jeremy Lin doesn't have his leg strength. He has missed a pair of free throws & airballed both his shots. Does have 3 assists.

Watched the first three quarters. Lin looked fine although he did not score much and his shot looked a bit off for now. Lin had one or two good drives and finishes at the hoop. Gonna watch the Denver game now and see how Gallo is doing.

We ALL KNOW Houston is rebuilding, so no, at this time I wouldn’t want their record, however, if a player impact the game positively, I could care less if is with high/low usage, I want that player on my team. Hey I would love to have Omer Asik as well, over any of our backup big man and he also plays in Houston.

I like Asik too. Just not at the price Houston paid for him.

OK, I rather pay 8 million a year to a 26 year old good defensive center (Asik) than 6 million to two 40 years old centers (Camby and Kurt).

Yea, Denver really flew up and down the court (80 points), and Gallo is a sniper (1-8 from the field).

Gallo is just inconsistent and somewhat of a streak shooter. Since he does not post and rarely drives consistently he will have these nights where he just shoots horrendously. All in all Gallo is a good second/third option at best and won't get much better. This is like his 5th or 6th season now. He is who he is. It is somewhat frustrating because he has the tools and skill set to be significantly better. I think several years playing for a coach that simply told him to shoot threes and stand in a corner hurt his development.

I've been saying for the longest, Gallo is just a shytty Andrea Bargnani.
