Believe it Bitches! Congrats to Girardi for having the stones to make the right move.

knicks1248 @ 10/10/2012 11:18 PM

ChuckBuck @ 10/10/2012 11:19 PM
Unfukingbelievable performance! Clutch city...dude got stones the size of cantalopes.

Phuck Arod a million times...

mrKnickShot @ 10/10/2012 11:20 PM
Arod = Melo

Bench the As$hole and put in ... anybody

What an awesome win!! And, Ibanez gave a great, classy interview.

gunsnewing @ 10/10/2012 11:20 PM
frickinunbelievable! First time I've ever seen Girardi grow some balls!!!!!
gunsnewing @ 10/10/2012 11:37 PM
oh and Ibanez hit the game winning HR off the lefty. He won't be in the lineup tomorrow against the lefty Saunders according to Joe's Binder even though he owns Saunders
tkf @ 10/11/2012 12:05 AM
Beast MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bonn1997 @ 10/11/2012 1:16 AM
A-Rod's playing terribly. Joe should start him against lefties only and otherwise just use him as a PH for the foreseeable future. I'm not upset with A-Rod though. You can't expect much from a NINETEEN year veteran. If he didn't have this crazy contract, he'd probably be retired right now.

He was spot on and "great teammate" in his response!

Best thing for the team is for ARod to get on track so don't expect him to just be exiled.

Girardi had to manage and he is!

BRIGGS @ 10/11/2012 8:01 AM
IMHO A Rod committed fraud for such a massive contract that the Yankees are stuck with--another 117 mm for 5 years. On top of which--he has that HR clause if people remember that will pay him like 5mm 5-6 times if he hits 15 through 115 more HRs--which is an avg of 23 per year for 5. If Steinbrenner were alive--I doubt hed be getting paid.
jrodmc @ 10/11/2012 8:22 AM
Arod hits a homer or two in the next two series, and all will be forgotten.
Why do people need to hate Arod and equate it with Melo hate?
The guy redeemed his Yankee career in '09. Live with that. He's got a ring, remember?
Sorry the fooker makes too much money for your effete, left wing tastes.

RAUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLL SOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!

Can't thank you enough, Philadelphia Phillies!

Anger should be directed at Hank and Hal for giving A-Rod the absurd contract. A-Rod simply took the money - we all would have.

And Arod even got rid of his agent in the process! That should at least count for something! [Not sure what, but hey!]

And gee, let's look at the tape of last night...who's the first guy running out of the dugout to congratulate Ibanez??? Why, that looks like MeloRod, doesn't it?

Edit: I'm removing my post about Melo because the purpose of this thread is to celebrate Ibanez.
I think it would be better not to drag Melo into this thread. Maybe you can find a way to resist your impulse to bring him into every thread, JROD?

Despite Arods struggles, the yanks won't win it all with him, so it's best to pray he gets on track, cause the last time the yanks won a championship, he was the main reason why..I think he even earned the championship MVP that yr

I think he's trying to hard, 7 stikeouts (swinging) 1 for 12 overall, thats a guy just trying to connect as oppose to letting the game come to him...

What do you tell a shooter whose struggling with his shot..Keep shooting

+1

Yanks are not going anywhere without Arod. I think at worst he'll be moved down to the 5-6 hole tonight.

My comment applied to MrK too, although he wasn't going on and on like you were. I mean, even when we're talking about a different sport, you gotta drag Melo in. You even create a new nickname for Melo in a thread that's about a different sport.
Nalod @ 10/11/2012 10:37 AM
If ARod=Melo, then Raul is Novak?

Boston might have the Celtics and Pats, LA has the Lakers, thank goodness we have the Yankees and Giants!
