Harden beasted on that trash team. Lin not so much.
Did you watch the game? Don't look at the stats. The game flows a lot better when he is in. Lin also had 4 steals and 4 rebounds.

Lin and Harden.
Err....No!!...It's Harden...
Even the Detroit announcers noticed that Houston went to shit when he was out. I watched the whole game. Lin directed the players to the right spots. He is the leader of this team. Harden is the best player on this team.
I think it was Carlos Delfino who shot them back into the game..No??..He was unconscious...5 out of 6 threes...

Wow. Well, really no use discussing Lin with you. You obviously have made up your mind.

Lin had 4stls and 4reb and had a higher +/- than Harden. So if he goes 12/8/4/4 on many nights I'd wager to say that the Rockets are playing well. Harden was spectacular tonight but look no further than this thread and fans said he isn't financially on par with Westbrook. He's not Max worthy. Dude was Lebronesque tonight and he did it with ease.
Houston minus Harden = PURE TRASH
Harden destroyed inferior players as he should. Lin doesnt look like a future star either.
Lin's defense was reminiscent of David Lee. Harden is going to earn his check in Houston.

Dude I watched the game.
Houston is GARBAGE. Lin is competing with Toney Douglas for PG duties. Of course the team looks better with Lin....
I'm sure Harden got what he wanted. Now he has his own team and he will get a chance to put up big-time numbers. Unfortunately, he'll probably never sniff the finals let alone advance deep in the playoffs again.
Lin lead team in +/- w/+18
Lin 5-12 12 pts 8 asts 4 rebs, 4 stls, and 4 TO. It is a very good thing Harden can bring up the ball. It was the first game so its not really far to judge Lin either way.
Harden played very well but it is just one game.

He had a +23

landry fields did for the raptors as well!!! though, it wasnt with a useful set of stats...
If you saw the game, then you'd see that they looked good. Lins passing and control was very nice.
Lin is not an allstar but he looked good. Lin and Harden looked very good together.
Harden moved the ball very nice too.

LOL, I do hope Felton doesn't read the around the league boxscore and try to "hero ball" his way past a beastly 12/8 42%
See i wasnt even going to bring up that lin had a pretty good game but as evident by the attention he gets from his haters who just want to see him fail miserably.

Absolutely. McHale rotation is a little weird. No Terrence Jones or Montijunas. Taking out Lin and Harden together at the end of the 1st quarter was stupid. Herman Munster makes some head scratching moves.

I don't get it either. At least AnubisADL has been consistent. He has hated on Lin even before Linsanity.

Lin is not a scrub, he is going to be ok..Down the road he can be solid, but let me say this...Thank the lord Dolan didn't match that ridiculous contract...Between him and STAT we would have be completely done...
If Lin was as good as some of you believe, he would have beasted against Brandon Knight. Plain and simple.
Lin and Knight played each other to a stale mate. SMH.
Come on guys, we have seen second tier PGs with polished games...We saw Lowry give Felton fits...Lin isn't there yet, let's be honest...

The optimism just oozes out of your pores when talking about any team that doesn't have Knicks across the front of their jersey....
I gave Prigs and Copeland props during preseason if you're keeping a running scoreboard. More games like against the Nets and I'll continue to show props but the Rockets/OKC/Nuggets/Clippers/Celtics is what I like from a fan perspective of how to build a team.
The "Full Training Camp" talk is something I never understood. It's why words like chemistry and synergy exist.
I haven't given the Lakers/Nets/Heat/Chicago/Memphis/Pacers...see these are all pretty good teams too but I'm not talking about them for a reason.
There's been a bunch of naysaying on this board about other teams and GMs.
Its not about the other naysayers....its the fact that despite your numerous name-changes, your schtick remains the same. I think it would be more admirable to just lay your cards on the table and just admit that you're not a Knick fan because your posts (for years) never read like you are one.
I'm a fan I just want the team to finally rebuild for once and do it the right way. Stay patient, for them to lay out their cards on the table and tell the fans they have a plan and for us to be patient too. That's all I want them to do. Stop accumulating other team rejects of failed stars.
I root for this team to draft well, to develop players properly, make good hires, to make smart signings, make trades that benefit the franchise short and long term and not only for the player(s) they're acquiring. I don't think we've done any of this properly for several several several several yrs now.
I don't like homerism either, haters are just as bad but tell me which year should I have been positive about this team? Seriously we need to stop messing things up, this is New York, we should be a standard of excellence not hype.
