The optimism just oozes out of your pores when talking about any team that doesn't have Knicks across the front of their jersey....
I gave Prigs and Copeland props during preseason if you're keeping a running scoreboard. More games like against the Nets and I'll continue to show props but the Rockets/OKC/Nuggets/Clippers/Celtics is what I like from a fan perspective of how to build a team.
The "Full Training Camp" talk is something I never understood. It's why words like chemistry and synergy exist.
I haven't given the Lakers/Nets/Heat/Chicago/Memphis/Pacers...see these are all pretty good teams too but I'm not talking about them for a reason.
There's been a bunch of naysaying on this board about other teams and GMs.
Its not about the other naysayers....its the fact that despite your numerous name-changes, your schtick remains the same. I think it would be more admirable to just lay your cards on the table and just admit that you're not a Knick fan because your posts (for years) never read like you are one.
I'm a fan I just want the team to finally rebuild for once and do it the right way. Stay patient, for them to lay out their cards on the table and tell the fans they have a plan and for us to be patient too. That's all I want them to do. Stop accumulating other team rejects of failed stars.
I root for this team to draft well, to develop players properly, make good hires, to make smart signings, make trades that benefit the franchise short and long term and not only for the player(s) they're acquiring. I don't think we've done any of this properly for several several several several yrs now.
I don't like homerism either, haters are just as bad but tell me which year should I have been positive about this team? Seriously we need to stop messing things up, this is New York, we should be a standard of excellence not hype.

Lin and Harden.
Err....No!!...It's Harden...
Even the Detroit announcers noticed that Houston went to shit when he was out. I watched the whole game. Lin directed the players to the right spots. He is the leader of this team. Harden is the best player on this team.
The Rockets lost control when he sat particularly middle/end of 3rd qrt when he picked up his 4th foul. Harden was a real man among boys tonight, Lin passed the Bar mitzvah stage
Harden was quoted saying they have something special. Not that he is only talking about lin but certainly not talking about toney douglas

Douglas was pretty bad tonight but Lin gets credit for playing a major role in applying pressure.... maintaining lead with balanced offense and defense.
Marc Gasol has worked on his game and is looking tough...wow..

Toney Douglas is bad EVERY night man. Come on now.
Toney Douglas is useless. Thus making the contrast to Lin that much more apparent.
Maybe they waived Livingston to make Lin look better.......
Taj Gibson 4 yrs/38 mil....
Good thing owners had a lockout to curb those ridiculous contracts...

Remember they renegotiated the revenue split. The owners are covered either way. If players salaries exceed the percentage the owners get back the difference.

Shaun Livingston and Delonta West out their, why do we have White at the end of the Bench????
For that Matter, Why is Kurt Thomas Starting when Kmart is still out their???(I know he wants money, but still....A starting Job is sitting here in NY for 2-3 months)

I know...but If these average players are getting this kind of money...Bron has to be worth at least 30 per....His three years in Miami could cost him 30/40 mil...

Yeah some of these deals aren't good. That's why I took issues with those who sided with the owners. They let their GMs do some pretty questionable things with money and they have all the power to say no.
At the same time if everyone is getting about the same amount of money even if not deserved it at least balances things on the trade front.
Not much of a difference between kurt and kmart except money
Derozan at 10mil is absurd. Tellin you jlin 3yrs 25mil is a heck of a bargain. Especially at 20mil the knicks could have offered if they attempted to make an offer
Jrue Holiday...4yrs/41 mil...

I said 4yrs/$40 in the Curry thread just updated but saw a report saying 4yrs $46mil?
EDIT: A Ha it's with incentives....he looked good tonight BTW

Joppy say it aint so.
Mouse - "If you aint want him dead why you leave him with me?"
Portland giving the Fakers all they could handle...
Carl landry is impressive. GS has nice depth. Lee and curry have been awful
