I thought it was funny that when NBA TV showed the top 5 scorers for each team, they felt like they had to put Lins stats up under the top.
Is it really that serious.
Warriors with lee and curry less than 100% beat clips for the 3rd time this year. It will be interesting how they will face off in the playoffs.
Warriors were at home...Home teams usually have an edge...Denver beat OKC a few days back, at home...Home\Road is a big deal in the NBA...
Yep which is why the knicks losing to boston chicago indy and brooklyn in less than one month at home is extremely alarming

A month from now...4 key players will be in different roles for us...Felton, Shump, Amare and
Kidd...With all the injuries, it's tough to establish a consistent way to play ball...Chicago and Indy just starting for figure it out...Felton just went down for us...We haven't adjusted yet..It's not so black and white...We just need some time...
This was from Anthony Carter awhile back when McHale was the coach at Minny
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_do...Wolves coach Kevin McHale, not an X's and O's type of guy
By J.E. Skeets
Our quote of the day comes from Nuggets vet Anthony Carter, a former Timberwolves guard, who tells Chris Tomasson of the Rocky Mountain News that recycled Minnesota coach Kevin McHale should "be a lot better" this time around.
"It was a learning experience," said Carter, who will see McHale and the Timberwolves on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. "He didn't really know all the X's and O's, but he had a good assistant coaching staff that was helping him out with a lot of plays. He kind of let us run whatever we wanted.
"He was trying to draw plays, and it was like a little Etch and Sketch. Like a kid just messing around. ... He just gave the clipboard to the assistant coaches sometimes."
An Etch A Sketch! So THAT explains how the Wolves beat the Cavs in '05. They employed George Vlosich.
They really need to get rid of McHale.

If their are injuries, it'll most likely be the same players minus Felton.
Kobe 7-22fg never really had that good of a percentage throughout and from late second qrt on basically shot the Lakers out of the game. His defense was atrocious as was the team overall, although Artest and Clark gave good effort.
Over 20FGA from Kobe..... another Laker loss. Kobe looks old like he's hit the "Old Wall" and I'm being serious.
Forget regressing to the mean; he looks like he's ready for retirement
I wonder if kobe is gonna retire gracefully or is he gonna be taken off the court kicking and screaming, clawing at the hardwood?

Or finish as a laker?
Lakes and him should really think about this long and hard. Its nice to go out gracefully but if not its hell for both team and player. Lakers looked so good on paper to start the season.
Kobe in Philly with bynum. "coming home"? In Bkn for a starphuch? (iso Joe and Marshon for Kobe) Or somehow a knick? I don't know if I even want him on the knicks as he and Melo could be toxic (on the court).
Just thinking out loud.

Denver does not need kobe.. what they need is a guy like Garnett.... they can score plenty of points.. they need a guy , like garnett, a veteran leader they can lean on.. they have miller, but he doesn't start, and KG still plays at such a high level, especially emotionally.....

They need a closer ...A guy to step up and put them over the top...Garnett ain't it..But who cares anyway...
Kobe might be good for the Knicks. Melo and Kobe I can actually see working.

i KEEP hearing that....they close as a team, I keep hearing this team needs a closer.. a closer can come in many forms, defense, offense, rebounding.... closing out games is more than going iso and chucking up shots... Denver has 4 guys who have already shown they can make big shots.. gallo has hit as many big shots for that team as any other player for their team.. Andre miller has closed out games at the line, ty lawson has closed out games, heck now even wilson chandler is taking big shots in games and hitting them.... All of this depending on one guy is not some guaranteed recipe.. classic example yesterday? who was our closer? what happened?
Denver doesn't have a closer as you say, yet they have just as many wins as we do... go figure..

you raise a good point... seems like they don't need a closer so much as a veteran leader. i have questions about iggy's role on that team. garnett would be a great fit on that team.
