These have to be the chippiest playoff games I can remember! None of these teams like each other! People complained that competition was dead cause the players hang with each other off the court! Not this year. This has been the best first round in a long time.

Westbrook is a very big part of OKC. Numbers don't lie. OKC is missing 23.2 points 7.4 ast 1.8 stls while Houston is missing 13.4 pts 6.1 asts and 1.6 stls. It is harder for them replace those numbers. He is also a very big part of team dynamics while Lin a lot of times is relegated to spot up shooter where Garcia is now thriving.

Westbrook loss is huge. 2nd best player on the NBA's second best team. Lin is a role player and when healthy is missed, but not a big drop off when beverly is in. One might argue in fact it could be a step up.

Nets are in trouble.
Rockets have a punchers chance. Kevin Martin is a big disappointment for OKC. They need Sefalosha to step up big time. Garcia space guarding Durant has been the difference. Durant spends so much energy just to get the ball. Plus they have him playing PG. He is spent by the time 4th quarter rolls.
Nuggets/GSW is a big tossup for me. The key to that series will be Bogut.
I think Knicks will win the series. Celtics just does not have the firepower anymore.

So much for your myth of "McHale is such bad coach"....This is what happens when you tie your hitch to 1 player and in your case Lin. Lin better come back re-invented otherwise he's going to go from starter to backup.

They should have kept Harden instead of Westbrook but I don't think anyone said that giving Westbrook's minutes to Reggie Jackson and Derek Fisher would help the team.
