i can't believe we're going to 7,
in game 7, it's anyone's game,
indy didn't come this far to just crumble like some old cookies,
pacers by 4 in a shock upset!!!
LET'S GO INDY
If anyone's been paying close attention, the Pacers beating this version of the Heat would not be shocking at all....Wade and Bosh have been dreadful. The elements that make the Heat an elite team have deserted them.
Wade is old and injured and Bosh is overrated.

It helps when your big man plays like a big man...Hibbert is legit and playing like THE BEST CENTER in the NBA.
I think he is the best big or will be soon. He is unstoppable when he gets the ball inside the key.
It is amazing how much he has grown from the draft.
Since last year.
Since the regular season! Look at his stats for the first few months of the season:

I remember a lot of people (including Pacer fans) were calling him a bust and a waste of money. He has confidence issues so he can go through long periods where he shoots 40%.

I dont disagree that Bosh is overrated, but he's better than 1-8....confidence issues?

Tyler hansborough? show me the money? rofl.. now this post is just flat out desperate
this is just a bitter post.. LOL
Im not bitter.
David West is going to get paid this summer and Indiana doesnt have his bird rights since they only signed him for 2 years. Still they can pay him alot of money.
Just keeping it real.
How dare you be critical of a rival team and not want them to flourish! Shame on you!
AnubisADL wrote:3G4G wrote:Boy this post wreaks of sour graping....
Speaking of expectations what are the Knicks since trading for Melo and what are they now 3yrs later?
No I dont have sour grapes.
It's just corny when you and TKF jump from young team to young team in your attempt to throw shade on the Knicks. Denver was supposed to go further than us in the playoffs. ELIMINATED. Golden State has a great young team with a future. ELIMINATED. Durant is so efficient and Melo is a Chucker. ELIMINATED. Now onto the Pacers.
It's just corny.
Exactly- at least when it was the Nuggets, they were a Western team that we rarely encounter. Now people are praising and rooting for a rival eastern team that defeated us. Did people use to praise the Bulls all the time back in the 90s and say how great the looked? Man, what happened to competitive spirit...
Clean wrote:Funny thing is small market teams wanted this CBA to be about stopping large market teams from spending too much. It backfired and also hurt the small market teams. OKC had to give up james harden and the pacers will have to give up a player or 2 very soon. I doubt they will go high into the tax to pay this team.
I thought that, but then again the real reason for the cba wasn't about 'competitive balance' (a complete BS red herring), it was solely about keeping spending down- most nba teams and owners mainly care about the bottom line, so OKC is actually a victory for them as it shows teams can't spend much more than the cap anymore.

I feel like Bosh gets alot of undeserved bashing. The guy is the ultimate teammate. Dude is forced to basically shoot jumpers and never complains. Bosh never gets post plays in Miami.
The guy went from being the man to being a "role player" for Miami.
I wish the Knicks could get a talented big like him. Dude will be effective even as he ages because he is a highly skilled big.

He's effective but he rebounds like a SF.
Bonn1997 wrote:He's effective but he rebounds like a SF.
Dude used to grab 10 per game in Toronto. Hard to grab boards 15 feet from the rim.
Bosh's role has changed in Miami. They basically use him as a stretch 4.
I'd love to swap him and Amare.
My comment was not restricted to offensive rebounding
You're right that he used to rebound like a legit big man

No chance the Pacers win in Miami, this was all about making it go 7 games.
Miami star power vs the Spurs team ball with vets.
So where is your theory at these days?....LOLMNOP!!!
Only one gun(Lebron) is bringing it for 48 min the other two (Wade--Bosh) is sleep walking, this is why the Pacers prevailed at home.

Who overrates Bosh? I really do not get that feeling. Ever since he arrived in Miami media and fans called it the big 2 plus 1. The only time they gave him credit was during the playoffs last year. Bosh just is.

Dolan gets tons of heat but the fan base is 10 times worse! I bet Celts fans didn't praise the Knicks after that series! Great Fanbases demand more out of their team. Not get all creamy over their biggest rivals. Where was all this Pacer love when they Suk'd? Oh that's right! Some posters were all over the Magic, and Cavs. I have never seen such frontrunnery from any fanbase before in my life.

Well he's putting up pedestrian #s but still making all-star appearances.

I wouldn't say his offensive numbers are pedestrian. Well his shooting numbers are great and his blks look pretty goo this year. I think all-star appearances is more about rewarding the heat team for doing so well. It happens year after year it seams.

That's not a theory that's an observation....okay what I thought your original theory was situational and one of constant evolution that stood on no grounds.

He has the dreaded, 'players coach' label and was criticized for not being able to call time outs and have his team run plays in the playoffs by some in the media. The perception was guys played hard because they liked him not because they were well coached. I don't know if it is accurate.
