Adrian Wojnarowski: Asked two sources with direct knowledge of Grizzlies-Hollins talks if they believe he's coached his final game there. Both answered: "Yes." Twitter @WojYahooNBA
He has the dreaded, 'players coach' label and was criticized for not being able to call time outs and have his team run plays in the playoffs by some in the media. The perception was guys played hard because they liked him not because they were well coached. I don't know if it is accurate.
Hollins actually did pretty well calling plays out of timeouts and he was always whistling and signaling players to do certain things on the court. I think this negative press is coming from Memphis, because they don't want to pay him probably what his market value suggest. If they felt they could get by without Rudy Gay which got them a WCF appearance, they may feel they can do just as well with a coach like Shaw or VDN or Scott Skiles who could come cheaper.

What's funny is the media is trying to make it into a Billy Beane vs Art Howe situation between Hollins and Hollinger. Hollins vs Hollinger actually sounds pretty cool. lol.
Minny may be shopping the number 9 pick and Derrick Williams. If I am Jordan I might take that deal. IDK.
What happend to the Miami team that had the best record and that winning streak?
1. Playoffs and Wades knee is wearing down.
2. Bosh playing on a sprained ankle this series.
3 Pacers are a bad match for them and they are playing better as the playoffs go.
regarding the "love", is it no ok to be a basketball fan and appreciate good ball even if its not your team?
Knicks had a great season but they went home.
Hollins had problems with new owner and Hollinger. He is not their guy. Given his success and being sought after his price is high.
He was not happy about the Rudy Gay trade, they way it went down and Hollinger intrusion with his team. He don't get along great with Z-Bo.

No chance the Pacers win in Miami, this was all about making it go 7 games.
Miami star power vs the Spurs team ball with vets.
I disagree. Weren't you theorizing that the pressure was on the home team? I think it will be a great game.
It sure was but the whole heat team didn't bring it for 48 min, if they did the pressure would have killed the Pacers.
Now watch the Pacers don't bring it for 48 minutes in Miami and the heat go on in triumph.
What are you really saying?
If the Heat played better, they would have won? Thats some prophetic shyt your putting out there!

Miami wins tonight if Indiana doesn't bring it for 48 minutes, if Pacers bring it for 48 min Miami loses because of the pressure playing trying to meet fans expectation.
I'm psyched about this game tonite, well as much as I can be without the Knicks being there. Should be a real slugfest.

Damn, thats some in depth kind of analysis that most folk just Don't get to see in everyday life!
yo, check it out, I got one too:
The team that scores the most points, "WINS"!
You heard it here first!
Indy's bigs not making a difference. Early foul trouble for Hibbert, bad news for Indy. 5 TOs in the first half for West, wow.

Miami's d has been really good. Indy hasn't been getting the verticality calls as frequently either. If the Pacers lose this they should look into adding a shooter. They have a tough time coming up with points.
Heat moving that ball well (not a slam against the knicks).
Again, enter The Birdman and they built the lead. This guy was the MVP, Miami's record is sick with him in the lineup.
No, not saying he gets Melo's votes.
Not saying he does that in NY.
This guy is just the perfect role player for what they need.
Pacers got some work to do in the second half!
As much as I want Pacers to win, I want to see SAS and Miami match up as well.
Nalod don't got a dog in this fight.
I lived thru Jordan, I can live thru Lebron.

I agree. Not getting much from midrange.

Feel the same way. Definitely a more interesting matchup. The kind you watch on NBA classics.
Pacers look completely shook. I guess the Heat defense will do that to you.

I can't remember seeing Lebron being this demonstrative on the court from the start to finish of a half. He is hard to handle and the Heat are playing great d.
He is at his best when facilitating and his friends are finishing. He imposes his will in this manner.
New ball, new game?
I wanted the episode 30 on 30 with Reggie Miller and the knicks. It was tough to live thru but 19 years later I can better appreciate the dude. Well done documentary. got in a good workout as it pissed me off.
I forgot how "country" starks was.
Playa, Miami looking real stiff?
