Watch the games! Enjoy the ride!
I find it actually interesting that GSW don't actually suck! And it's been less than ten years between occurrances!

I have a feeling Jennings gets traded if they continue to slide. Hammonds is a lame duck GM with a lame duck coach, with a lame duck knuckle headed young talent.Unlike Jrue/Curry/Derozan he hasn't taken the leap. He might get a 4yr deal but he's playing himself into O.J. Mayo territory this summer
Is Skiles truly a psycho as a coach? Don't catch too many Bucks games so just wondering.

AND WE dropped below the nets despite our 12-4 record.. since when did power rankings, sekous smith rankings, espn rankins ever affect wins and losses.. you guys pay way too much attention to those things... can you tell me this... did denver dropping 6 slots in the power ranking help them win or lose a game this year.... No.. but I will tell you this, your style of play, taking too many threes, not scoring closer to the basket, not rebounding, directly affects the games, if not now, then certainly down tthe road bro..
enjoy the ride...... while it last!!

Yes, I would agree, taking lots of wide open threes does directly affect the games, especially when you're making them. And when we're not, Felton drives and scores! Melo backs down and shoots and scores! Tyson cleaning up the 'garbage' and shooting 98% from the field! The occasional PNR! Was that Prigs to Cope I just saw?
And if i recall my shot tracking records correctly, Stat and Shump both major in scoring closer to the basket, so down the road might look just a wee bit better than you're prognosticating.
And is it just me, and the piss poor reception I get on 98.7FM, or do I hear JR and Melo getting offensive rebounds almost every game? And resetting the O with them, even!
I will enjoy OUR ride. Meanwhile, enjoy that .500 team, while that lasts, bro! Like those yellow unis! Very sharp!

No Skiles isn't bad, he simply has players who play with extremely poor habits and aren't consistent with their play.

This was his initial outlook early on but once all the feel good stuff showed with the team there's been a little extra on expectations from both.
Amar'e talked to reporters a couple days ago and when asked about Christmas return he said we'll see.
Rose supposedly will be practicing by the end of this month

stat and shump are not here, and One may be back in feb, the other may never come back.. who knows... i want them both back as much as the next fan, because I am hoping it will bring about some sort of change on offense.. lord knows I hate watching this team play on offense.... I am hoping that if amare comes back, we go with a heavy dose of pick and roll instead of this iso chucking three point offense we have.. make no mistake about it, I always wanted this offense to be surrounded around a strong pick and roll scheme with back cuts and then working our way outside.... the problem I have is that oh ugly will rear his head when he is not getting 25 shots per game... sorry I just see this as a problem, and the solution is not benching amare....
gunsnewing wrote:Shump originally said he would be back by December. Never trust players and definitely never trust the Knicks organization regarding injuries. If Rose is looking at a late Feb/early March return then its late Feb/early March for Shump. Reality is he probably won't contribute until next year
I am fine with bringing shump back slowly... I look at him as a long term solution... I hope we sign and keep this kid and not ruin his career rushing him back...

If Rose returns to Pratice before December ends (current projections) he's coming back well before February/March
Shump said he was in the last phase of strength conditioning/rehab so not sure why his timetable return is fluctuating.

Just curious - where was this said or implied? I've seen you say this a number of times but I've never seen any proof. Not saying whether you're right or wrong I just want to know why you keep saying this.

running a pick and roll offense will mean more shots for amare, heck even for chandler and rasheed and it will mean carmelo will take less shots, even some games a lot less.. this guy has shown us that he won't play nice if he is asked to even step out of his iso comfort zone.... unless he is playing on team USA where he is trumped by better players and only has to deal with it for a short period of time.. funny thing is, he did pretty well playing that role.... but when asked by dantoni, he went into derail mode, and even moreso when he found out that lin would handle the ball more than he would.... it didn't have to be said, but was implied on both occasions I just mentioned... pretty much why dantoni didn't stand a chance here with him and pretty much why lin is no longer here.... this is my opinion but I base on on a series of things I have seen and discussed over and over again.....

Team USA is nowhere name the same since everyone is so good, Melo literally just has to catch and shoot. Also, Melo played the point forward for a crap load of games last year..which was out of his comfort zone. It was when it stopped working that Melo became frustrated (dont agree with his lack of effort, though). D'antoni didnt stand a chance with him because D'antoni didnt like him. It was known that Mike never wanted Melo here. The whole Lin situation just seems like too much speculation but you did say that it was your opinion.

I mentioned team usa because carmelo was doing the very thing dantoni asked of him to do with the knicks.... remember they were running dantoni's offense on team usa, and he didn't seem to have a problem. I stated two reasons why I felt it work.... he knew it was temporary and he had to fall in line with a team of guys better than he was.... carmelo is lazy, always has been, he is not very versatile on offense other than scoring, he is a baby, he is immature... I completely understand why dantoni didn't like him.... I didn't want him here really and mike didn't want him here, and the knicks were reckless in pairing the two together, dolan gets a lot of blame for that.. another moron..
