My guess this is going into the off-topic ASAP

Nalod all summer saying "let the games speak for themselves".
Im just enjoying the games so far!
I watched the Nets last nite. Good game and nice arena. Toronto not a bad team.
Nets looked pretty good. Small sample.

Be honest, what do you think of guys like Blatche, Humphries and Deron Williams- do you find them easy to route for? For some reason, even though none of them have wronged me, I can't stand them!

Deron I've always been neutral on. The beef with Sloan I never got a straight answer on. If he was an immature ass and makes good going forward OK. Sloan has a history of being a bit of a dick himself so who knows. Maybe they both snapped. Melo has a diva past and I just go on what I see and I see he has matured as a knick so I have to judge Deron the same way. Hump starphucked with the Kardashians and got burned. On the court and the few interviews I don't have a problem with him. BLatch I never really followed in DC other than he got shot. That team was full of bone heads.
if you don't like them, I guess thats your call.
Watched the game last nite and I had no real emotion to it. I have always liked Wallaces game (gerald) and he really does play hard. BroPez is a guy who really has worked on his game and I liked his hustle. JJ and Deron did not really mesh all that great but its a small sample. Marshon Brooks has a nice future.
Thats it, nothing to fall in love but Im looking at it more favorable than many knick fans would.
I was always a big Gerald Walace fan

Yeah, dude brings it most nights! He is worth the draft pick they used to get him.

I would love him here. A stretch 4, hustles, defends, moves the ball, good team guy ...
Overall, I find them horrendously boring.
Teams that I enjoy watching other than the Knicks are:
Miami
LA (both)
Denver
Houston
Boston
Minny (with Rubio)
Edit: Chicago (with Rose)

I like Wallace. I like their roster a lot. I think Watson, brooks, Evans and Blatche are a great bench. I was always jealous of the nets when thorn ran things. I don't have the same respect for billy king. I think the new cba and thorns stock piling of assets allowed his approach to work.

No doubt about Thorn. I'll give King some credit as he pulled together some moves that on paper look good. All the while they had Howard on their radar and damn near got him. They managed to keep BroPez in the fold without losing him to free agency. Love him or hate him he does have value in the market place.
On paper Humphries stats are deserving of the money he got and it was jsut a two year deal.
Bottom line was after one game they were a bit boring and have yet to establish their identity or a pace. They look like many other teams. They have a lot of new players.
I would think living up to the hype is not going to be easy in the short run so expectations have to be tempered. That franchise is under an enormous amount of pressure. Not saying I feel sorry for them, its just what it is.
Knicks are responding well in their first two games to their own expectations and pressure!! Knicks take care of their own business all is good!
Knicks are playing well thats true. I got burned bad this summer with Dolan's decision. But I hope the Knicks do well.
Im going to be watching Brooks next two years with great interest. I find it kind of hard to root for Deron. He seems to remind me of one of those guys on the playground court that has an ego. But he's growing on me. Bropez and Joe Johnson were slammed hard through the papers this summer. Rooting for them to be vindicated is going to be fun.

Looks like Prokhorov got burned more with his decision to sign Joe Johnson...
Our Wallace actually plays. Your Wallace sits.
nyah nyah nyah.
Life is good.
Please stay healthy, Knicks!
