Knicks · Anyone notice that the Spurs have won 24 reg season games in a row? (page 1)

Dating back to last year? That has to be a record--doesnt seem plausible to do

i think it's actually 14 briggs. they lost back to back games april 9 and 11 to break up that streak last year.

Does anyone care?

Lol true. Knicks haven't won 3 straight to begin the season since '99-00 and dude's are talking about the Spurs.

It was weird how they collapsed in the playoffs- one minute they were unbeatable, the next swept away. Still, people mocked us for being old, the Spurs are proof you can still win a lot with a aged roster, if you play the right way.

Don't discount how good OKC was playing.

SPURS seem to be playing upset briggs, on a mission.... it is still early and a lot of teams won't keep pace...we are no exception either.. heck, look at the mavs they are 3-1 without dirk... that is surprising...

well, they were rolling last year, finishing the season with the best record, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah but winning a bunch of regular season games and then flop out in the playoffs..which they have done in consecutive seasons..thats the worse especially if you have a veteran ball club..

i really don't think it was that weird why the lost. they are a great regular season team because they do play defense and they do have a high % shooting offense. the problem is they have no player to depend on in the playoffs. duncan was solid, but he no longer can be the player he once was and that leaves the team a mess in the playoffs. especially against teams like the thunder or lakers who are going to score a ton of points and run with the ball.

Not close to the record. The Lakers won 33 straight.
