That is an excellent article. Thanks for posting. Strongly recommend people to read it and watch the video clips (they're all short). I hadn't noticed all the off-ball picks in watching the games.
This offense is so much more fun to watch (and I'm sure to play) than Dantoni's spacing based, "stay in the corner Melo" concoction. It's also very effective. And, I expect, there's enough variety that it's hard to game plan defenses against it. You can imagine that teams will start to switch the off-ball picks more -- or at least provide more help on them, but there's enough going on that we should be able to counter these moves pretty easily.
I don't expect JR will keep playing as well as he has all year, but, again, we're not relying on any one guy.
thanks for the GREAT post; that was a very insightful article and i put my friends onto it. I think coach woody has some coach knight (motion offense) and MDA (PNRs) in his offensive schemes
