Why do fans think we have any clue to rest him or not based on Media reports?
For all we know they are preping him (god forbid) for ACL surgery? Knicks don't tell fans crap.

i think woody needs to be careful with melo. if we are blowing teams out there is no reason for melo to be on the floor. yes injuries happen all the time but a team like the lakers who are frustrated will lose their cool like dwight did last night to melo.

i dont think its serious but i did feel is was more than a mild sprain the way he was limping plus he mentione dhis hip too. However i think we got lucky hopefully

Yea at first I thought he was out for the season. Looked like a season ending injury. Looked so ugly. For example, the injuries to Revis and Holmes didn't look a violent as this one. I didn't enjoy last night's game, not until I heard that it wasn't anything serious. It was a bad feeling after Melo went down like that. But after watching his interview post-game? He's fine. Just a little sore. Melo is a no B.S type of guy, he wouldn't hide a serious injury.

Maybe he could have played but your up by 17 and its cool to be cautious.
NBA players are habitual fable tellers. Tell the media what fans want hear. They always in shape when they not, They pay Tim Grover to tell everyone how great they are doing, they are "dedicated", always want to resign with their team, Blah blah. They all compliment each other too. They get paid from salary from ticket sales and TV revenue. They are the entertainers.

I hope he is not hurt beyond what is being told! I saw Bernards 50 pt back to backs. I saw him go down. It always haunts me.
