How is 'Mosquitos' even an option? Really, NBA?
Mosquitos is a terrible name and the Bullsharks and Swamp Dogs sound like minor league teams or an intramural college squad. I like the history and concept behind it but the actual name, Rougarou, is a little goofy to me. I actually really like the name Pelicans and think it could work pretty well.
Of course, we're named after a type of pants so maybe I shouldn't be talking about other team's names.
Its New Orleans. They should pick an apropos name like... the Jazz
Only thing I remembered when visiting New Orleans in 2000, was "Show your tits! Show your tits!" on Bourbon Street for Mardi Gras. That and Po Boys, Beignets and King Cakes and Hurricanes.
New Orleans Titties has a nice ring! 
I'd go with the New Orleans Mint Juleps or the New Orleans Spicy Dirty Bloody Marys... damnit I loved living there

Should be Jazz but they in Salt Lake a lot longer than they ever in Nola.
