Knicks · Knicks would have little chance to beat Bulls in 7 game series (page 1)

and have no chance if D Rose is 95% by playoff time.

Knicks shortcomings--health-- older players pop in an out--champion teams dont have so many ? players health wise--how can we rely on them for so many games in a row?

Our starting SF(Ronnie Brewer) is awful

Steve Novak can be taken out of games and his minutes = nothing

We lack athletic ability

Live and die by 3--seeing some back end results lately.

Tougher teams punch us and we fall down a bit and think about it

Good thing we have 70 percent of the season left to see where we can get better.

We've punched some good teams and taking a couple of good punches already.

19-7 19-7 19-7

What the knicks have to do is get back to this ball movement and everything will take care of itself.

Three skilled 6'11 veterans would also make a difference

to be honest i want no part of the bulls in the playoffs. We match up so much better against the heat

To beat the man you got to be the man.

A healthy Camby would completely change this Knicks team - he helps in every area the team is weak. Don't know if or when we'll get a healthy Camby and how long he'll stay healthy though.

+2

People also have to take in account STAT and IMAN...

RonRon @ 12/22/2012 1:05 PM
It starts with their DEFENSE, COACHING/DISCIPLINE, and GREAT 1v1 DEF PLAYERS as well as great TEAM DEFENDERS.

Some other teams, mainly on the West, that I think we do not match up well with are

West
-------

OKC
Memphis
Clippers
Spurs
Houston

Warriors

East
--------
Bulls
Heat

Bobcats
Bucks

As of now, we are missing Iman's defense, Rasheed Wallace's minutes, a HEALTHY Camby that we thought we were getting when we traded for him.

I dont have much faith in Camby. He was injury prone when he was a young man so at 38 i dont expect that much which is a shame since we are giving him good money and gave up picks. Iman we need bigtime. If Iman is anywhere close to what he was last year that will make us much better in the playoffs

Just last year, he averaged fourteen boards per 36 min (and 2 blocks and 3 assists). That's enough to indicate to me that there still is the possibility of him being a very high impact player in the playoffs.
