(Bootleg alert) Ugly uniforms for a middle school. dreadful for an NBA charter franchise.
Marketing has its limits. You still gotta play the game and when the attire is a distraction, or a foul magnet, there is something wrong with the priorities
Yes, uniform color can influence foul calls. The color white is associated with innocence and purity. Orange is a color of tension and, as in the case of road signals or work attire, an emergency.
Stupid decision.

Melo needs the ball in his hands in that situation...if they double...THEN kick to JR for a in the flow 3 attempt.JR played a great game but I am still scratching me head at that shot
Yeah JR played great until that last shot. it seems like we are making a lot of mental errors lately. Earlier in the season we were very pateint and smarter
I would felt better if he didn't take that shot once he saw he wasn't wide open.
I agree with Harv. We didn't need a quick 3 at that point, especially with Dwight Howard on the other team.
One of the few poor set plays out of timeouts for Woody.

I am happy with Woody overall but his last second play calls have not been good.

That is my question --- Woody is a master out of timeouts --- there is no way that was the play drawn up.....could it ?? Did a reporter ask him after the game.
For the crazy people saying I an not a big Knicks fan or maybe confused--- LOL -- I watch every game on the NBA League pass and coached womens college basketball for 9 years.
At that stage of the game--we don't even need a 3 --- we could/should attack the rim ,if something isn't there ---then kick it out for an OPEN look--- not a back to the basket spinning turning 35 foot 3 . I love JR and he played a hell of a game but I just someone could answer the question... WHY ? Was it the play Woody caled?

Pretty sure it was a misdirection play for JR. Don't know why we needed a 3 with (40 seconds?) so much time left though.

It was not just this play call.
How about the end of the half with JR. Awful! Why all this one on one stuff and the end of halfs and quarters? Why can't we actually run a real play?
Can we please discuss the wild three that the announcers could not believe the strength, athleticism and balance it required for it to go in the basket?
Erase the positive.

that does not make it a good shot
Book It

If it goes in the hoop it is a good shoot

I agree. Woody's great with in game set plays out of timeouts, but during crucial stretches or near end of quarter or halves, there's some questionable play calling.
And worse case, how does Melo not touch the ball the last couple of minutes of the game? I don't know the exact time, but it seemed like forever Melo didn't seem involved, besides the questionable lob passes by Marcus(Why is a center playing point guard?)
I'm overall pleased with Woody, just miffed a little with questionable play calls, his inability to free up Novak, maybe try switching White for Brewer to allow Brewer to reset, and his opposition to sitting Felton for Prigioni to allow him to heal his hands and/or brain.
Otherwise I'm peachy at 20-8.

For some reason Melo only took 3 shots in the 4th quarter compared to 6 for JR and 4 for Felton. And this is after he was completely on fire in the 3rd quarter.

Yea, I was pretty baffled considering World Peace was in foul trouble.

that does not make it a good shot
Was Julius Ervings ridiculous drive around three Lakers (including Kareem) up and under reverse layup a good shot?
Was it?
Dat wild sh#t is nowhere to be found in The Basketball Handbook. Nowhere.

I can't tell if you are being serious or not.
I will just assume that this is a joke and you can't be serious.

So, when Felton shoots under 30% from the field and misses 10-15 shots/game those are still all good shots because they are, right? And when JR happens to hit a pretty ridiculous circus shot that he'll miss 9 times out of 10 and missed later on in the game that's also a good shot, right? Is there any shot that any Knick could take that wouldn't be a good shot to you? Just checking.

Hilarious!
He did the same with Fields.
Now THAT was a wild shot worthy of discussion.
JR is ridiculously good, even when he is bad.
21-8 is kinda great

JR so bad that he's good!
You expect his bad shots to go in now.
