Well that didn't take long.
From coach of the month
to coach on the couch
Now I'm actually kinda scared on 2nd thought.
If you gonna fire a coach better to do it early to salvage the season like Lakers and Nyets. Not like the Knicks who wait 1 year to 4yrs
Deron williams stars in..
" SERIAL COACH KILLER"

He still trails Kobe, who drove out multiple coaches including Phil Jackson, and Lebron, who got two coaches and a GM fired.

HA-HA Clyde style dis!!!
I'm not a big Deron fan but I usually side with the firing off the coach. They were embarrassed again last night and Deron didn't play. He is not the problem.
What he did to Sloan one of the greatest coaches to ever coach is a different story but I don't want to hear Deron is a coach killer for the Avery fire. The firing is well deserved. Avery is clueless offensively and players don't take him seriously

He would be a great hire. I think Avery needed to stay with his big line up.

YEA, that may be true, but lebron and kobe are elite and they win rings.. not a real excuse, but if you are going to kill coaches you better deliver something better than a 14-14 record and no rings.....

It seems to be a pattern with him.

Humphries was stinking it up. He is a stiff. I can't fault Avery there. I can fault him for how awful Deron has looked in 2 1/2 yrs in his offense. And how awful Joe Johnson looks. And Gerald Wallace went from being a good two way player to a guy averaging 11 & 6. Too much Brook Lopez. He is too soft
This just proves that NBA Head Coach is probably the least stable job in all professional sports.

It may just be coincidence but there has been a lot of drama where Deron has been. First Sloan is fired, and then the not commiting to resigning with the Nets and now Avery is fired.
Wonder what happened to those Knick fans who jumped ship...
Avery had to go, he's a pretty bad coach and had lost the team. Wonder who they hire- SVG? Who else is a realistic possibility? I've lost track of which coaches are out there.

Proves another thing to me, that not all coaches and teams are a good fit for each other. Like with the women, you cannot have a good relationship with every woman you meet, same with coaches
Gotta have that fit, so I won't go and say that Avery is a terrible coach, it just wasn't a good fit there in New Jersey with what they were trying to do and now both will move on and probably do better on the next step
Brooklyn*, it's gonna take at least a season to get NJ out of my head, I still call them NJ Nets all the time
Nyets have the players. Blatche, evans, stack, brooks, watson. Not great but they should be better than 14-14. Anywhere in that 4-6 range. The problem is they think they are right there with Miami. It's been a rude awakening and I love it

Wait Sloan was fired or resigned?
or did Deron want him gone so Sloan when the Dantoni route instead of getting fired?
It's been a while I thought Sloan just walked away. He was there forever
