Knicks · Time for coach 'Tone-Loc' Woodson to begin holding himself accountable for things in Knickland: (page 1)

Dont see any accountability for Knicks players from Coach Woody anymore &
recently since Knicks are very very good digging themselves deep deep holes vs. likes of better teams
like Rockets, Bulls, Nets, Celtics and also digging' holes vs. patsies like Sacra-tomatoe Kings, Pistons,
Cavaliers, Suns (road game) and Bobcats.
Seems to me time for Coach Tone-loc Woody to hold himself accountable for a change for why? Knicks are so bad
at avoiding big holes or 15-25 point deficits which is the norm now even when Felton was here & healthy.
DJ tired of hearing about whom is hurt or injuries or whether players cant suit up due to suspensions, fines
or stupidness in the press.
All in all Knicks in big trouble again and we're not even in allstar game mid-year point.![]()
Woody shows his annoyed face and fails to be able to do adjustments in-game.
Players are old & woodson hasnt done a great job recently in motivating his team
I've said this all along and I continue to stand by it. You will realize it come playoff time.

Are u kidding??...Knicks at 23-13 with big players out...That's 10 games over .500...Lakers are 15-20 with that squad...U want to tell me u would take that at the beginning of the year???...

you got to be crazy for using the injury bug
all teams has it, Look Knicks got enough to win few games.
Its not the losses its how they losing by 500 pts against the world, it dont matter WHOM suits up or whom isnt there,
You not going to make out Shumpert or R.Felton being BIG PLAYERs ? come on
these arent Durant, Pierce, Dirk, Duncan.
The NY Knicks are playing very very bad
dont blame the fact that Shumpert, Rasheed OR Felton aint here
Last TIME I checked NY got their asses whacked with Felton in the lineup by Rockets and Bulls
their 5-8 record isnt good & to extent their butts getting pasted should not make any real knick fan happy

When u have to bench JKidd, it should tell u something...
And JR is also cool - he will get his big contract.
All the other bunch is already thinking about golf in Florida.
This team is tired, hurt, and need some rest as any old people.
Give them week off (coming) and they will be winning again some...
First roung exit... here we go...

I think you're right but it still does have to do with Woodson. Hinrich today wasnt exactly getting layup after layup. Woodsons offense as of late has involved little to no ball movement, off ball movement, or plays. When Thibs doesnt have a PG to get into the lane and create for others, he has his players move without the ball and pass freely. Woodson - tonight, at least - had his players give the ball to Melo and move out the way.
He is part of the success & failure too!
Point here is clear as it was with M.Dantoni which neither Woodson or MDA were good or GREAT in-game coaches
to make adjustments or be the 6th man to win a winable game.
I am not saying its up to coach Mike to win every single game & I dont want to get into Miami win & losses
cause we're not the HEAT and Miami has luxury since they will be there at the end & defending champs even if we hate em'
Woodson isnt the best with his adjustments
sure he is a nice defensive coach and credit for alot of wins, but I aint excusing him for the losses either.
Fact is Knicks are losing some games I aint going take mediocre excuse wait to Felton or wait to Sheed and Shumpert are
back to help. Its obvisious when those guys are here we will be better & others will get a break and pressure will level off
Knicks been bad at home, its what this been about.
I can take a competative loss or bad shooting game with defending to have a chance to win.
These Knicks losses are poor play, fact and those games for 1st time they had no chance to win at end
after they shot their load in the game start.
PGs been inconsistent. Shooting & 3's been inconsistent and missing, the defense has been bad in crucial times
Many teams showing lots of teeth while laying it to Knicks. Plus NYK been doing way to much complaining about the lame
referrees calls.
The 23-13 record is nice even for a team whose 2013 has been poor. Unless the ship is righted the record will be in jeopardy
as is the division title control. If those things are fine or cool god blessings,
They aint cool with me, they aint playing well since the 1st Rocket blowout at the Garden I dont like it
and I'm running my mouth about it!

Well if JKidd is on the court and there is no ball movement, what does that tell u??...We have White and KT starting...Two dudes who probably should not be on the team...Novak gives u nothing, but gets burn..Melo had a bad start..JR shooting badly..What should coach do???..Bring in Brewer??

Ok..What adjustment could he possibly have made??..Please enlighten me??..Your two top scorers are missing everything??..U have to start two guys who really should not have made the team, James White and Kurt Thomas..U have to bench JKidd because he is just terrible right now??..What adjustments???

Oh god no
The team still moved the ball beofre when Felton wasnt playing (earlier in the season when he was benched and the game right after he went down). Im not saying Feltons not important. I cant wait until he comes back and I was someone who was extremely critical of him in the weeks preceding his injury. You dont think theres a serious lack of offense here?

Too many WIDE open jumpers
too many uncontested layup or easy baskets,
Simple as that.
The bulls should not need to be only group running sets /defenders
you mention 2 top scorers missing everything .. is immature way to approach the fact that NY isnt going to outscore peeps
the way you've like OR come accustom to young fella
White and Thomas starts so what ?
Same mediocre thinking from the same era after the Ewing yrs.
Same 7th & 8th place seed finish you'd like posters to be accustom to here in this forum.
Listen
you can be happy with the folks out, or team old.
Its known Knicks are one of the older teams in league.
You can even be happy Knicks get their butts whipped these days.
I aint one of them Knick fans fella,
you going with your excuses for the players or level of play these days. It does not get you wins with that simple-simon
attitude of yours. Only thing I agree on is JKidd is playing horrible but JKidd is your/our starter these days dont mean
he OR rest of team doesnt have to do better eh ?
These are professionals
there play is poor
end of story

I think we are built on him getting in the lane...I don't think the amount of shots he takes is totally on him..I think the coach tells him his is how he has to proceed...But his judgement is just poor.. I think he has to take good shots but when Melo was hurt he went nuts...I'm really not worried...I think we will see the pick and roll when he gets back coupled with Melo doing his thing...It's also nice to see Camby make some passes...Sheed will help...Big thing is getting Amare and Felton in rhythm before the playoffs...I still think we need another PG who can get in the lane...But we are what we are...Shump will be huge just to give Kidd a break...
and team still whacks your ass, anytime , any day OR any gym. No sensible Knick fan can accept the way they've lost games
3 losses were not even close to BULLs
2 losses (N/A out of conference) to ROCKETs were not even close.
And by the way the 2 whackings Knicks gave Miami Heat forget about it, we only care how we play & playing the game the right way
The right way is what this is really all about ..players and coaches.
There isnt a coaching issue & I'm quite happy with Woody the Knicks coach.
Lets us not forgot coaches coach and players play, So improvements needed to be done. Long season
but NY has some things to fix.

Shump is a defender, Guard/lock down defender 1st
Shump is a alternate PG at best & isnt a Point guard whom does the things Chris Paul, M.Connelly, T.Parker and rest of top notch
PGs does
This isnt to slight fabulous talents of Shump, he will help
but more as defender and all around 2 way play moreso than PG play
