Knicks · If Ewing had LeBron by his side along with the rest of the Knick back then, would we beat M Jordan's Bulls & a ring (page 1)

This is a fantacy. If LeBron James was on our team in the 90s playing just the way he is now would we beam Michael Jordan and the Bulls and would we win a championship. How many?? Lets have some fun.

IronWillGiroud @ 1/20/2013 3:12 PM
They wouldn't even play the season then,

82-0 Knicks, champs by default, so about 15 titles

Bonn1997 @ 1/20/2013 3:21 PM
It really should have been criminal to surround him with the support cast he had for his entire career. I think if he'd had someone as good as just Zach Randolph, he'd have had a much better shot at a ring. Or someone like Lamar Odom in his prime.

Didn't even need a LeBron just another all-star caliber player.

If only Ewing had Melo. Not sure just Spree cuts it
IronWillGiroud @ 1/20/2013 3:33 PM
If he only had Shump.

That's real talk.

or Harden

Ewing in his prime with the team he had in 97 wins multiple titles.
MSG3 @ 1/20/2013 5:52 PM
Or if Ewing and Bernard King played together in their prime with Mark Jackson and some of the same supporting cast. Yeesh that would've been incredible.

+1 I wish Allan Houston could have been in his prime at the same time as Ewing, imagine LJ in his prime before the back multiple rings

Forget LeBro. If he had JR Smith, it could have been different. If we didn't get owned by Stern that suspension year he could have had it. If Starks didn't have that stinker of a game when it counted the most, if that finger roll went in, if Timmy was picked by any team other than the Spurs in the lottery ( sup TKF , your Sig is stupid btw)

Anyway, it could have been very different.

Never forget that Stern took away a trip to the finals

I wouldn't go that far, that Bulls team won 69 games that year. But yeah, that ruling was fucking ridiculous. And, I believe that team was nearly as good as the ones in 93 and 94 and it's disgusting that we weren't allowed a shot at the Bulls.

if patrick had carmelo anthony (aka a healthy bernard king) the hoya destroyer would have acquired some hardware
SupremeCommander @ 1/20/2013 11:15 PM
or, if only patrick had jeremy lin and his 14 PER...
mrKnickShot @ 1/20/2013 11:15 PM
If Carmelo and Patrick played together they would have needed 3 balls.
SupremeCommander @ 1/20/2013 11:19 PM
isiah thomas turned down a trade to the knick at the end of his carer. that would have been a two way matchup nightmare
Cartman718 @ 1/21/2013 1:48 AM
I think the thread should read... if MJ wasn't given cinderella treatment from the refs would we have won the championship

That's what I was thinking. A Chris Paul - Patrick Ewing combo would have been perfect.

Patrick ended his Bad Boys.

Sadly, he'd get his revenge a decade later.
