really?

Only if PHX throws in 2-3 first rounders.

JR is a keeper and a borderline allstar

Have you lost it.

I would do JR for Dudley if Dudley was an actual SG. How about JR for Reddick?

DONE.

I want someone who can hit/take big/smart shots in the playoffs.

Considering the Knicks slippage on D of late, you want to bring in Reddick? BTW, for all of JR's up and downs, he's proven he can take and hit big shots.

Thats perfect. We don't need him shooting 10+ times a game.

what we need to do is stop playing this BULLSHIT small starting lineup. No one can score but Melo

or defend for that matter

PG-Felton overmatched defensively
SG-Kidd overmatched defensively
SF-Shump overmatched defensively
PF-Melo overmatched defensively
C-Flu

I think Melo does a better job defensively than anyone gives him credit for. He did fine today. He'll screw up in tramsition at times but he's defending fine.

Flu Tyson is a huge problem.

gunsnewing @ 2/10/2013 5:03 PM
Melo did alright. TODAY
callmened @ 2/10/2013 5:11 PM
My beef with the dudley trade is that it doesnt solve this teams problems. If you say well get back a millsap or b.bass type of PF a then ill listen. I agree that this is a win now team...and now hes useless if hes not playing def. But i think we should be patient with shump or at least ask for someone who fills our needs

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN
Melo on Iman Shumpert trade talks: "He ain’t going nowhere. He ain’t got to worry about that...the Knicks shouldn’t even be in trade talks."

We already know Melo calls all the shots

He ain't goin nowhere until someone offers him a "RIDICULOUS CONTRACT"....just goes to show if Melo has your back publicly he will let that be known a la Hey Knicks draft my boi Josh Selby.....I remember he didn't even want Shumpert when it was known who we were drafting and his tweets after the draft indicated such...

Still Douchebaggery

gunsnewing @ 2/10/2013 5:21 PM
Josh Selby LOL

Defensively? No he isn't. Do you think the Suns would have started Grant Hill all those years if that was the case. A big problems is that people seem to think Dudley is shooting guard. He's athleticism is sub par for a three, forget about two-guard. I mean, if you thought Brewer's man to man D was horrible....

Exactly what I've been saying. I'd say he's slower than both Brewer and Fields

or get me a guy who can help run the team and score.

I like Sessions.

Sessions is a loser, nice guy with offense on meaningless teams with few assists sometimes

All in all Sessions is a poor mans J-Lin, at least Jeremy competes but Ramon is similar
when you put top notch PG on him to force Sessions (like Lin) to play D and then Sessions is non-existent as
far as getting his team setup for scoring opportunities or likewise.

Bledsoe is better cause of his attitude & improving it appears
as expected, He'd be a nice Knick

Right
well said

folks on board forget NY got a ways to go before getting out of Eastern/NBA Conf. to compete for title.

Sure Knicks can give HEAT a tussle if NY Gets there

that is my point. Knicks are "pick-off able" by at least several NBA East teams which are Pacers, BULLs and
Brooklyn Nets. *That is scary considering I think our Knicks are at least BETTER than 2 of 3 teams I cited
but Knicks can also blow it all based on seeding & how Knicks mental demeanor is these days.

Losing games at Da' Garden isnt a good sign for a elite competive team especially losing now & in April
a remedy for getting your as_s bounced early from NBA playoffs

for all the Jared Dudley lovers tonite

The OKC Thunder is whipping the SUNs tails at end of 3rd QTR
OKC 76 Phoe 48

Jared Dudley Stats 0-3 FG as a starter & play total full whopping 8+ min.

So much for his stats and hyped offense, whom is playing vs. Jared for OKC Thalbo SG/SF ?

*LOL

You got to be kidding me to trade for this man, I know this is OKC perhaps the greatest team this season in NBA
however the game is in Sunland AZ, and Jared and his team is getting whacked good.

A difference maker ? Jared
I dont think so

BRIGGS @ 2/10/2013 10:53 PM
Id love Reddick but hes not coming here for Shumpert. If Pho is that serious Dudley Oneal and a 1 in 2014.

That would put Anthony back at SF put a low post scorer in the strating line up and a more efficient double digit scorer at 2g

Line up

Tyson Chandler
Jermaine Oneal
Carmelo Anthony
Jared dudley
Ray felton

Amare
JR
Novak
Kidd

Again Id take reddick but hes not coming here for what we are offering(shumpert)

This is basically the team that started the season with Dudley for Brwer and Onel for Wallace--moving Kidd back to back up PG

gunsnewing @ 2/10/2013 10:58 PM
Tyson
Amare
Melo
Shump
Felton

Why do we need a scoring SG when Melo does most his scoring deep outside on the perimeter?
