Woodson doesn't run an offense with off the ball movement. Reddick would be useless in NY.

We are talking about an outfit that let go a promising young PG for nothing.

and useless defensively. It's hard enough to get Felton, Kidd, Shump, Tyson, Melo & Amare to switch on defense. Sheed is probably the only one who understands it having down it under Woodson in Detroit

He was a restricted free agent that signed a poison pill contract. Knicks couldn't resign him. Lots more stuff out there about the new cba that confirms this. Harden and Gay were moved from teams that were competing for a championship because of the cap. I have seen two articles that have said trade deadline will be quieter because teams are so afraid of taking on a big contract.

Money is nothing to Dolan. Especially when competing with the other team in Brooklyn

I love the idea of adding more offense to the offense...Redick better get behind our Blackholes in Melo/Earl/Amar'e
You do realize Melo has no problem passing to guys who can make shots. A contested shot from Melo is more likely to go in than an open shot from our other players except Novak.
Highly unlikely. About a year ago, I posted an article showing that he was making 31% of his contested shots.
Shumpert's perceived value greatly outweighs his actual value. The Knicks need to dump him for a back-court player who can help more. It could be Reddick but doesn't have to be. They just need to find the GM who will pay the most out of a belief in Shumpert's upside.

Finally we see that people are realizing what we have been saying for a long time.

i don't know if you've been watching the Magic this year (which makes sense because they suck), but from what I've seen Reddick creates his own shot a fair amount of the time. He's definitely capable of scoring beyond spotting up.

We usually overrate our young talent until we finally find out what the trade will be....then we start back pedaling and crapping on the young player given up.
the only way to maximize the acquisition of reddick is for him to displace felton. this is essentially what kidd did and was one of the elements of the success early on. if felton remains the primary ball handler the trade will be a waste of time.

Nahhh money is definitely something to Dolan just ask Walsh and Lin

The only thing that would have cost the Knicks is money. It does not stop the Knicks from acquiring anyone else. This was a no brainer. Obviously Dolan has no brain.

Thus no trade of shump we don't need to have conversation bout Iman going anywhere
If Woodson is smart move Iman back to bench & Let Kidd shoot his load at PG With limit to minutes
Bring Iman off bench & increase min. As SG
Let Paublo.& Jkidd back up PG Felton ..until Raymond is outta here
to be honest Woodson said Shump was starting to give Kidd a couple of days off. Don't expect to see him starting much unless the matchup is just way too much for Kidd. I'm not sold on Shumps health. Also, I read someone saying he had trimmed down. To me, he looks heavy, especially in the lower body.
Right agree
Iman is fine after he heals better this summer but fool Woody need to see this
& move Shump back to bench tell him temporary & test Shumps minutes there as SG
Thus let Felton, Kidd Paublo PG play out
Until ny gets real young at PG ny ain't beating Miami now until next yr.
Ny will/must draft Ray McCullum their AI PG OF FUTURE & he will be available in draft
Once ny works him out & other teams pass on him
Our time is next season
Redick is better defensively than people think and is a better facilitator than people think. its like having an early season Kidd who can penetrate. Unlik Novak who is to so slow to come of screens Redick can. Jr comes off a lot of screens he has also been in a shooting slump but so how throughout his career he always plays better the 2nd half of the season.
look the trade would be
NY
Redick
Ridnour
Orl
Shump
White
Cash
Minny
Brewer
Novak
Thomas
Minny is trying to dump Ridnour to save cash for Peko. Orl may not want another player with yrs. Ny can Fill out the roster with Kenyon/Amoundson, Sims, Donte Greene, etc Idk just throwing names out.

Řight, well said
You don't trade Shump only exception is when IMAN value on market is at highest level
& after ACL his market val is N/A or lower so Ny is scrooed on any return val for Iman
Iman will come back & haunt MSG thus you don't deal this guy cause your rate of return now
Stinks..
Iman stays & we will be pleased later on
Write it
If Shump is moved ..it got DOLAN crap all over it
He is evil enuff to move attitude, Dolan don't care for fans

The entire complexion of the nba changes because of the new cba but the Knicks are immune to the changes? Ask Memphis and OKC fans if they like the new cba.

Explain to me how this affects the Knicks other than Dolan's wallet and ego or feelings.

CrushAlot is so caught up...when money ain't a thing act as he did during the Isiah era but now money is a thing. Trying to cite the new CBA only hurts his argument. The New CBA has made owners who previously said money is of no concern to me, a concern....in Dolan's case it was a decision that made him look at $10-15mil dollars differently than he used to when it came to matching Lin. Then he asked Walsh to take a 40% paycut after orchestrating moves that supposedly put the franchise in the best position it's ever been in, if you buy into his role in those decisions that is. You don't tell a high exec in New York to take a 40% pay cut, not one respected in NBA circles such as Walsh. But Dolan counts pennies differently these days this much is obvious.
