NY need to get out of 1st rnd , I know its like a broken record we harp on, PG REARS ugly head again! On our Knicks.
Felton CAN'T be 2nd best option & he is to Melo but Raymond ruins the knicks. Look no further than when Rondo on Bos has 2pts & 20assissts to lead to earlier CELTs wins & a title yrs ago. Sorry but DJ is tired of Ray & he luckily gets a pass & no blame here.
He is a big HUGE issue, most important starter not named MELO.
However if ny succeeds & gets fortunate enough to play for NBA east semi OR conf. Title
I still feel it won't be cause of dumbo PG Raymond Felton whom I like but soured on.
Thus why Felton has some value stll hopefully this summer in NY I'd seriously send his butt
Packing & try to get into 2nd rnd 2013 nba draft for a 2nd pick, Ny has 1 pick at #26?
The guy I like is Ray McCullum a 6 2" skilled PG with offensive and some feel to run a club,
A two-way player who may slip to late 1st & maybe near 2nd rnd, from Detr. Univ.
He appears to have a tad of ALLEN Iverson in him with his.jumpers, going to basket & ability to
Pass for hi as_ssist & though he can't ever be another AI he is going to be better Defender , young
And got guts to get up to nba level quick.. if he comes outta school which is foreseen
He is athletic as Hell, NY would love him & this Knick mystery on not getting good young PG.drama of
their will end.
YOU all check out his youtube if u don't ever seen him yet & give feedbacks
*grin

Woodson isn't going to play a rookie. Stop the madness.
Ray isnt being traded
I do like that draft pick in ray mccullum but hell be taken earlier
If Felton gets traded again, he is going to commit suicide
callmened wrote:Ray isnt being tradedI do like that draft pick in ray mccullum but hell be taken earlier
May not cause he's projected 30'thirtysomething to Milw Bucks & I bet
Reason he may not go higher is more than 1/2 NBA teams seeks size
Centers & skilled forwards if u read them draft sites, you know going
BIG in near future is way to beat teams like Heat & Okc
The draft is more BIG guy draft than small guards as far as top 10
If McCallum is there knicks be NUTs not to draft him, he will play in nba
& be starter eventually,
Write that in stone

LISTEN my man ...unless Nyk our heroes make it outta 1st rnd with a
Playoff series win, Woodson may not even be around 2013/2014 if NY
Play goes south.
*write that in stone,
I pray for woodson but NBA is a young league past 5yrs
So you get with it unless Woodson adjust if he is still coach he will be
Axed, same as was in Atlanta with them 46-50win hawk teams
I hope ray mccullums stock drops to the late first rd so we can pick him up.
We are stuck with the core of melo..stat...tyson..ray and coach woody for the next few yrs. Before 2015 we will not hv any cap room to make major deals. The only way the knicks can improve is with creative acquisitions with the LLEexception ($3mil) and signing mini vets contracts. So basically were only able to get old vets at the end of their careers and an under the radar free agent (id love to acquire dante cunninghm)
The reason ray mccullum slipped is because he had a very bad acl injury

Woodson is going nowhere. Knicks will make it out of the 1st round if we keep the 2nd seed.
The knicks are invested in this core until 2015
Felton is no all star but he is serviceable and likely better than anyone we have a shot at getting. We are never satisfied as fans. We went through the Charlie Wards and Duhons and Rick Brunsons of this world already. Ray is a big step up above those guys who would likely fight for 3rd string on most good teams.
A game changing point guard is a Allstar in this league. Chris Paul is not walking through that door.

Dolan only fires guys he is told to hire. What happened to all the Isiah is behind the scenes and that is why Woody got the job?

Felton is great value for what he is being paid. That is why he won't be traded unless we are getting a PG upgrade
I alway thought Felton is a great back up or platoon player to share the point with. Denver running with Lawson and Felton would have been sick.
He gives 100% but its not sustainable. When he plays big minutes he loses effectiveness, as do all players.
Is is why in Europe the platoon these guys. Go balls to the wall then sit and let the next guy do it.

I hear ya but right now Felton stinks. He has 2nd half to help push ny over hump to 2nd seed
If 2nd seed don't happen & nets win it, you know Melo will be there so only 1 reason NY FAILS 2nd seed
That reason = Ray Felton unless he ceases his bravado T's and gripes & gets back to form passing, setting up team peers and playing leadership role especially on D against PGs which are lower PGs not named Rondo
This guy has been bad & touted 2nd most vital Knick & scorer /leader on Knicks we ain't seen it!
He has chance to reverse the scorching his tail been getting by ALL PGs in nba east
Tired of excuses for Felton
His 1st Knick tenure been great but ..2nd stint is failing He'd better fix it fast and not with his mouth
Need more game balling from Felton.
You all know that its true, so goes PG & so goes Knickerbocker success needed in 2nd half seas. To win division
So let me get this right he comes back shooting better and less and people are still made. If he continues going this a few more weeks I might have to contribute the shooting to injury and players being out.
Well THAT is the real issue...this team is depending on a servicable pg who should be a teams #4-5th option. Besides melo this team has to rely on stat and erractic jr. Ray is solid if hes not pushed too much (injury prone..and just not that good).ray shouldnt make or break a team but the way this team is built...hes just too important when he shouldnt be

Right but he is vital
No excuses he is PG
Despite shooting ok Ny losses & bad guard play defensively Felton
Is top of list.
You get your butt/hiney whacked by likes of.stars CP3 , Jru Holiday & J.Wall I/fans can take that but
Only if you contribute other area to you team competing in bad knick losses
You get your tail whacked by Nate ROBINSON, CJ Watson, John Lucas 3rd, or Luke Ridenour
Tells you all about our PGs
If Jkidd & paublo too old & slow and Felton can't play lesser PGs then we don't have
Reliability at PG when importance of guard play is needed to win games

Its a team sport, you can't blame this on Felton, you blame it on the team a it is composed. Tyson Chandler Takes games off all the damn time. Some days Melo's brings his bag of bricks onto the court with him. Some days (well more often than not of late) JR Smith should not be allowed to shoot unless he's unguarded and his feet planted. Some days Kidd looks like Mike Bibby out there. How you decided to focus solely on Felton and say we'll never win with him....even miss Cleo wouldn't make a claim like that up.
I agree. Its a team sport and most importantly the core wont change anytime soon
when a team has a group of guys who are questionable decision-makers, taking more shots than they should and passing less than they should, the result is that the team will have a hard time establishing chemistry and synergy. our core is filled to the brim with these sorts of players. the result is an offense that is not good enough to contend-- this is essentially the message magic johnson was sending before the break concerning this team.
the only real chance the knicks have of succeeding is focussing their energies on the defensive end of the court, creating turnovers and easy points.
but will players listen to woodson or tune him out... assuming that he actually demands that sort of defensive effort in the first place?
