If we win or lose all you guys do is bitch and moan

Yes it is frustrating to watch this team sometimes but thats part of sports, you win some, you lose some.
Yes we got destroyed by the pacers, but then again 2 weeks ago the pacers beat Miami AGAIN,chicago,atlanta,and philly it doesnt mean we suck, it means they are playing really good right now.
Clippers went 17-0 in december then start january with 2 back to back loses, one by 18, the next by 21, you dint hear them asking for vinny del negros head

It happens.

Now yes we have GLARING weaknesses, but one thing I have learned is NO ONE IS UNTOUCHABLE

I love shumpert, but if someone throws u a pick and a solid player, he's gone.
Redick for shumpert is not good, dudley for shumpert is ehh

Prigioni impressive passer, but doesnt score to save his mothers life.

If you can get pieces for amare, GOODBYE!

Copeland....let the kid play. He's not the next jordan, but he can score, and if you can score and can hit the 3, ppl have to play defense on him

Ronnie brewer is worthless if he's not D-ing someone. If woodson would let him play D, he would have some value. I remember when we had him on lebron earlier in the season, some of you guys were ready to name ur next child ronnie.

Camby or sheed......if you cant stay on the court I could care less what you've achieved in the past. We need those roster spots.

I'm not saying this is a dream team. But its incredible, if we're winning you can still manage to read a negative thread the next day. If we're losing, someone needs to be crucified on 7th avenue.

Have you ever considered that the reason SO MANY fans are unhappy about things on this site and the others as well, is because something is wrong and has been wrong for a while now?
I mean do you prefer people to repress their emotions? Do you prefer a protest area?

Don't hate, be active to make things happen. I vouched strongly and have been doing for years to encourage fans to take actions (in this case, no actions on purchasing Knicks goods and encouraging others the same) to make a difference. I hate whining and bitching, but sometimes that's all people feel like they could do. Just treat it like politics. The main thing is take proactive initiatives. If you see something wrong, do something about it, vote, stand up and voice your opinions, make a change, or in this case, make sure media knows about it and talks about the detailed problems our team has ever since Jimmy Dol took over from his dad. I'm not saying my method is the absolute right choice, but honestly, I think it is the problem, the owner, and we should be positive about our team by forcing Jimmy Dol to sell the team to a competitive logical owner.

I agree man. There are several people that used to make quality posts on these forums that stopped because of the negativity. I started using the ignore feature that has made a huge difference in my ultimateknicks experience.

I was happy at the start of the year but anyone with eyes can see where this is going a 5th or 6th seed and a 1st round exit. This is the best team this group will have. Its only getting worse from here. At the end of the year trading Melo and Chandler are the only moves that will get this team back on track for being competitive in 2015.Fire sale anybody for picks and cap relief. They need to have a horrendous team in 2015 so they can get a Top 5 pick. Shoot for being a championship contender in 2017 when we own draft picks again

Dude..it's been 13 years since we've gotten out of the 1st round.

We've consistently had amongst the highest payrolls in the league and for a good decade or so this was WITHOUT making the playoffs for a solid decade followed by ROYAL ass whoopings from Miami and Boston. Yeah we had injuries and lost to great teams but we barely put up any kind of fight.

Other than when Donnie Walsh came in at no point were we one of those teams that had a low payroll but promising young players just waiting to grow together. Other than that pre-Melo team at no point could we shrug off losses like the one last night and say "oh well we're a young team and we're learning from this"

Fans are supposed to root for the team to win and care about the team. In my mind everyone who is still crazy enough to spend time watching the Knicks, rooting for them, pissing and moaning about them and checking some internet forum about them is probably amongst the most (stupidly) diehard fans in the Knicks fan base.

I don't see where anyone declared that as fans you have to always have positive feelings about a team regardless of the circumstances.

You think fans of any other team (other than maybe the Royals) is going to put up with a DECADE + of high payrolls AND losing AND what is universally viewed by anyone who follows sports as clumsy management and have a sunny disposition? You show me that fan base.

We're still watching the games and obviously care very much about the team and are praying that they find a way to win.

If you can withstand what's happened with this team since 2000 and still be upbeat then I commend you but I am absolutely mindboggled that you don't understand why people would criticize ownership/management/coaching/players.

If a true fan is someone who can do that and all the other mere mortals are just "fans" then I guess I'm just a so-called "fan" Shame on me?

you are not upset with their effort lately? that is the thing that is alarming and frustrating. they have a good team but they are playing like this? i wouldnt have been that upset with losing against indiana if they put up a fight but they were taken like an imprisoned ponzi scheme weasel with hardened criminals.

This is hands down one of the best forums I've ever been on. Not just Knicks either. Good luck finding something better where you don't have to sift through pages of stupid trade ideas and just pure stupidity.
