RT @DarnellMayberry In a separate deal, the Thunder is likely to acquire guard Ronnie Brewer from New York as well.

Ronnie Brewer reportedly headed to OKC

Wonder what we're up to- I presume clearing a roster spot, but Berman said we have zero interest in Amundson, heat seem to be after k-mart and looks very unlikely that Suns will cut Jermaine. Hope Brewer does well, I did actually like him before he mentally broke.
AnubisADL @ 2/21/2013 3:21 PM
Brewer wasn't even playing so anyone is an upgrade.

Marc Berman‏@NYPost_Berman

#Knicks have a deal with Brewer to OKC perhaps to clear a roster spot.

gunsnewing @ 2/21/2013 3:23 PM
This is just the Knicks doing Brewer a favor. Maybe he has a small role in OKC and gets paid in the offseason
playa2 @ 2/21/2013 3:23 PM
OR PICK UP OKC's DANIEL ORTON straight up 6"10 255 PF/C 2nd yr from Kentucky
yellowboy90 @ 2/21/2013 3:24 PM
This must be about getting a pick or creating room. They need to cut White and add Greene. It would be nice if Dunleavy asks for a buyout. Oh well. IDK why the thunder want Brewer they don't even like playing sefelosa down the stretch. Brooks is as stubborn as woodson is when it comes to line ups.

Thunder sending Knicks a future second-round pick for Brewer.

WOW we actually trade for a pick for once

good move for the Knicks and Ronnie

Yup. Good for Brewer. It was pretty clear his run was done here. Glad we were able to get something for him though, regardless of how late a 2nd rounder OKC will give us.

Crushalot is correct
A.Hahn confirm the R.Brewer deal to OKC FOR 2nd rnd draft pick
Maybe this yr?

Feel bad Brewer wasn't givin 2nd chance blame coach Woody
But it gives Ny 2 picks if this is current yr 2013

I like it,
Brewer goes to great Team, will be in finals

He moves without the ball and plays defense. That is what wins championships yanno

Knicks send Ronnie Brewer to Thunder for second-round pick, league source confirms.

Would love to hear Brewers explanation of what's going on in the knicks locker room

Moving without the ball and passing up/missing layups doesn't though. The rest has probably helped him though. I can see a quick turn around.
AnubisADL @ 2/21/2013 3:28 PM
Brewer faded quickly. He will not be missed.
GoNyGoNyGo @ 2/21/2013 3:28 PM
When he was in the lineup the Defense was much better!
gunsnewing @ 2/21/2013 3:29 PM
Very smart move by Grunwald. Isiah would never have had the foresight. Instead of just waiving a player for nothing now we got a 2nd rd pick
yellowboy90 @ 2/21/2013 3:29 PM
Yeah way to get another asset.

So is this why the knicks played so poorly, they knew someone was leaving ???
