Knicks · Amare joins Shump as my favorite Knick (page 1)

So much fun to watch how easily he scores. Much more spry than last year when he had the bad back.

STAT is back!!!

gunsnewing @ 3/4/2013 9:38 PM
And Felton loves featuring him 8pts 10assists!
IronWillGiroud @ 3/4/2013 9:43 PM
he was good to me tonight in fantasy, let's hope melo misses a few games so that amar'e can win me this week
Bonn1997 @ 3/4/2013 9:44 PM
Shumpert? Really?
I'd pick Tyson and Kidd.

Yea I was happy for you as the game was being played

Nothing wrong with that. I tend to lean towards home grown guys. Not guys lured to play here by 20mil. Gotta credit Amare for being the 1st to come when the team was a laughing stock though

gunsnewing @ 3/4/2013 9:59 PM
Damn thread title should've been...

Amare plays 32mins and his Knees don't shatter!!!

I never lost my love for STAT. That doesn't mean we can't criticize his awful D and lament his injuries, but the truth is that when he's healthy he's clearly the 2nd best player on the team and always has been since Melo came along. STAT is our most efficient "well rounded" scorer. We know we can lean on him as we did before Melo. The only issue has been his health. Woody should've played STAT in the 4th qtr of the Heat game.
gunsnewing @ 3/4/2013 10:02 PM
Yes anything that gets the ball out of JR's hands limiting his role
tkf @ 3/4/2013 10:37 PM
amare and shumpert are one of the very few reasons why I still watch this team... I like both guys actually... always have been an amare fan..

This post above makes me wish we trade Shumpert and Stoudemire. This way, TKF would no longer be a New York Knicks fan.

LMAO at this guy.

Go become a full time Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets and/or Denver Nuggets fan already will ya.

when you grow up and realize that you can't control how everyone feels, your life on the internet will become so much easier...

you should look in the mirror and laugh at yourself, your constant policing of the forums is ridiculous on every level..

get a life dude..

There is no reason why he should not be starting now that Camby is back and Martin is learning(offense) and on the bench.

The token starter system needs to go. Both Felton and Melo looks for Amar'e and like I and others have been saying he is giving the team the cutter it had in Brewer but Amar'e is capable of finishing at the rim.

The only thing I do not like is that Amar'e can become a black hole in the post after he makes his move but he did a better job passing in the 2nd half. All the stuff about small ball is crap. Let teams try to match the Knicks. Playing a front line of Novak, Melo, and STat is not helping anything.

That's a good way of putting it. I was struggling to find the right words to explain why NYKM rubs so many here the wrong way. It's the extreme effort to control the feelings of fellow Knicks' fans here.

When the knicks lose at least I have one thing to be happy about. NYKM will not write much in the UK.

I don't get it, and he tends to address the poster personally instead of the content of the post..

hmmmmm, i used to think the same thing about you and your posts about Melo...

Can't we all just get along? I mean, the team did just win... without Melo, even.

TKF does have strong views but he doesn't have anywhere near the anger toward fellow Knicks' fans that NYKMentality does. That's why TKF is one of the most popular posters here.

I thought you'd like yesterday's game- must of been nice to get a break from Melo!

I'm a big Amar'e fan too- I'm really surprised and impressed at how quickly he's developed a post game. To go from having none, to looking pretty nifty and efficient around the basket in hardly any time is really impressive- I've always liked post play so its good to see it again on this team.

I'm hoping if Melo takes a game or two off, when he returns the offence will be rebalanced and Amar'e won't have to take as much of a back seat to Melo as he has been made to so far.

I was happy to see amare playing inspired, heck I was even able to stomach JR smith, as I do think he is a bonehead, but he will play hard... it just seemed like all of the knicks were actually expecting to contribute and were not after thoughts.... they looked like a team.. the ball was moving, heck even amare was defending.. the guys just looked comfortable and unpredictable.... I actually enjoyed it.... watching both knicks and denver win that way made for a good night...
