everyone is rotating well on D..perhaps having Melo and STAT on the court was taking it's toll defensively
blazers playing some bad d. i can see why they have had such a flat year. knicks (no jinx) could smoke these guys if they keep playing well.

Portland is still shooting nearly 50% from the field. We need to continue to take the ball paint and not settle for jumpers if to the pain if we want to win.
We need to attack like this all the time!!!!!

i think as fans it's really easy to blame the coach so i keep trying to think of how someone with so much basketball experience playing at Indiana, etc and coaching with a guy like Larry Brown could not think of something to get his team to get into the paint.
I guess he's going against guys who are just as knowledgable... I dunno.
I think it can't be as simple as Mike Woodson doesn't know what he's doing...right?
ball movement, thats not bad defense
it's crazy how much better we're passing, moving without the ball, creating for each other etc...

and also refreshing not to see posessions that consist of spending 75% of the shot clock just trying to get the ball to Melo in the post

Agreed....if we keep attacking, this game is winnable, hopefully don't dont go jumpshot crazy.

defense + moving without the ball and moving the ball on offense

woodson doesn't have the proper pgs to play his way all the time, he has solid pgs that are smart and savvy, but you need to have both.
Chris Webber observing Blazers have adjusted to our pick + roll by blitzing the ballhandler. He then asked: how will we adjust our offense?
so far this season once our opponents stop the pick and roll we've resorted to chucking up bad jumpers

yeah i mean i'm sure with Chris Paul instead of Amare our offense would look a-ok.
