Because he has George at half price

And a bigger and better defender

Still under rookie contracts = * at least for 2013 season/many with extensions already for following year

Harden * Not sure if you consider him a comb guard at PG, so drafted 3 PG's on the bench
Battum or JR Smith (salary purpose) if salary doesn't fit all would either substitute LOVE/Alridge or Battum, replaced with JR Smith *had to stick a Knick in there....
Paul George *
Love or Aldridge
Noah

Lilliard *
Irving *
Holiday *
Klay Thompson *
Ibaka *
Chandler Parsons *
Wilson Chandler
Larry Sanders * or Ed Davis/Tristan Thompson
Taj Gibson *
Byron Mullens or Vucevic * spread 4/5*

Versatile lineups with youth, penetration, shooting, length, athleticism, shot blocking bigs/DEF, and very skilled players

If possible, would fit in Westbrook as the backup PG/SG 6th man role as defender *PUT PRESSURE ON PG's* /penetrator/scorer in which Poppavich would bench him/mentor/bench/scream/develop him to play the right way along with JR Smith if he is on the roster

Problem would be the team would be in 200m + in payroll/taxes by next year LOL

Coach = Spur's ENTIRE STAFF, Brian Shaw *assistant*, Rick Adeleman *assistant* would work too as a under rated coach that played with the King's style offense with Peja/Chris Webber/Divac
Medical = Sun's STAFF

I think what he was saying is you cant put starters all over your team.

RonRon @ 3/19/2013 4:10 PM
PG - Lilliard
G - Harden
G/F - Batumm
SF/PF - Parsons
PF/C- Noah

Bench
------------

G Bayless
G Jack
G/F Wilson Chandler
C McGee/Taj Gibson or for fit, Ryan Anderson/Byron Mullens since Dantoni is well, Dantoni...

Underdog Coach
-------------------
Dantoni *giving him the players needed to run his system*

or

Rick Adelmen

Philosophy -

1) RUN

2) Look to get fouls and shoot FT's

3) SPREAD OUT and PENETRATE and MOVE OFF THE BALL WITH PICKS on, cuts to the basket, PnR, only WIDE OPEN uncontested 3pter's and off the ball

4) SHARE THE BALL to the open man/find the mismatch each team, and generally play off/initiate off 3 players depending on mismatch, while other 2 players play the complimentary role

5) DEFENSE - if needed, everyone can switch outside of Noah *he can still switch but must call it out if he does*, just communicate, for the most part try to play 1v1 DEF/unless there is a weak link on the floor for the opponenets which my roster has great speed to recover with

My team analysis
---------------------

I think this team is SICK, all players have skill sets that allow each other to play off of each other's abilities

Weakest part of roster: Guard DEFENSE but all have good size/versatility/speed and Noah is a great defender whether team or 1v1 with the forwards with great size/length/athleticism/speed to switch if needed to for one another

from the 1-4 all have the ability to handle the ball, hit the 3pointer, and penetrate/faciltate to attack opponents DEF
Always have at least 2 good ball handlers to avoid TO's, traps, and penetration/speed/quickness
Negates PF's that are great in posting up by making them defend a F that is skilled and can go outside in
Will make the opponents PF's chase the mismatch and work them, not just stand around the 3pointer for a spread offense like Knick's

Don't have a real PF, but Batumm/Parson's/Will Chandler all can defend multiple position with G skills/good IQ/all round skills with great size for a SF, and hard for PF's to defend
They all have decent enough post game to fight for position and play the creator role

with Noah *most athletic 7 footer/quick/great length/smart hustle player with all round skills* under rated passer, ball handler, some post up abilities, penetrate well off the dribble

@ronron = Nice analysis. I see that youre high on Lilliard (alot of people are). Im still not sure what to think of him. He may be a SG masquerading in a PG's body. I think youre roster reflects the new philosophy of the NBA...run&gun and Pick&roll. no need for a big men and PFs. instead you just need versatile "long 4s". Id prefer to SLOW the game down and beat people up with big men (i like the old school but times are changing)

@Briggs = im more like you - more traditional. I like big men like al, splitter and davis with shooters like curry and JJ.
