and for the most part they have had massive success. I believe that Hauppauge Digital HAUP is going to absolutely explode this year. They produce the devices that allow gamers to upload a nd stream video games to youtube(a huge burgeoning market) The stock had its first profitable Q with.13 a share in Q 4in 6 years and I believe as they release Streameez( a device that will allow companies to stream direct to the Internet) this is going to make a run that will be unreal. For disclosure I have over 275K shares with an avg of around 1$. The shares OS is smallish only about 10mm with a 7.5mm float--so it can explode quickly--notice it went 1 to 5 in one day two years ago. This company was once 53$ a share and slowly since 2003 the company has gone downhill. But I have followed this for a LONG time and strongly believe that this will give returns that will be incredible and have put my money where my mouth is. I would check out youtube and read about the new HD PVR 2 and the device that will be released soon STREAMMEEZ. This will be like Boxie Tivo etc... its what I could call a small long term company that I believe will turn into a mid sized cap over the next 3 years---that could return 500+% or much more. My 3 year target is 27 my 2013 target is 5. read all you can on it--especially what the company is doing now take your time and read through. Any question I would try to answer here I am well versed HAUP

What do you think about the competition that the company is going to have? Sony's new gaming console is going to have the ability to instantly upload your gameplay to youtube etc. It seems like a lot of this is type of tech is going to be included in PC's and gaming consoles. Do you think they are using HAUP tech or something else?

These PVRs have their own encoders--while the game counsels can add features to upload or livestream--it would be difficult to bake in the qualities and additional features. The HD PVR 2 is infantile--its becoming mature with incredible new features as we speak. And the coup de grat is when they release Streameez which will be the same thing as LIVESTREAM but much more affordable. A Streaming units are the next paradigm--this opportunity will be found out in 1-2 years to be incredible. Check out the quality of the new capture software.

The goal here is to do a 1-10/20 over a few years--this is no buy the stock instantaneous 500% gain--but Ive done this a long time followed this particular company for 17 years--this is going to be a 5 bagger at a minimum.

This is my holding from this am HAUP Hauppauge Digital Inc. $1.04 $286,000.00 22.30% 275,000 $38,008.99 $247,992.01 8.72%

Im not always perfect but in my life Ive been a hit 70% guy--and when it hits its very very nice to say the least. I feel very good here

Briggs, are you still pro-HAUP?
Have they made any significant progress with their new technology
VDesai @ 5/30/2013 10:30 AM
HEy Briggs- whats going on with HAUP. Price has been getting crushed over the last 2 months. Is it time to get in?
Nalod @ 8/16/2013 12:40 PM
at .55 its crushed again.

Briggs picks are interesting and you have to pick your own entry points and even harder when to get out.

He is sensitive about discussing it so its hard to get an answer.

IGOI was a 5x if you timed it good and has been an complete disaster since. Don't let the 3.54 price fool you, the stock did a nasty reverse split after it was threatend to be delisted. Company is being bought out. The Vampire chip never got out of the Hewlett Packard realm.

LOOK, Not good. GSIT had a great run, then fell 60%, and up 50% from there. Depends on where you got in.

Not being critical, just a tale of caution. I played with some of the picks and did well in some, not so in others. It was fun money and nobody put a gun to my head so can't get upset when it does not go. Getting stock tips on the UK has its limits!

LIke I said, its with good intentions he posts his picks so there is noting to be critical of. I did real good on Haup a few years a go and a good run with GSIT but gave some back with Look, and a second go around with IGOI. First time I more then doubled which was great but I was way to slow in pulling the plug. ONly the benefit of hindsight can I say that. Wish I never went back for that second time. Greed!!!!!

I have been watching Haup since he mentioned it but I kept away. At thise prices it would not take much to get a nice profit. They are fun though when they run!!!!

Haup financials:

Briggs, if your reading this, please understand I am greatful for the input regardless of performance!!!

PLaya2 and IronWill.....I'd love to see your portfolio picks!!!!!!

Nalod has legal reasons why he won't post recommendations. Sorry.

If martin wants to take the UK public I can help him!!!

IronWillGiroud @ 8/16/2013 6:58 PM
today, i have a modest amount of capital so i trade forex using only pure price action,

and even when i have a huge amount of capital i will trade only off the charts, and only off the bars,

i'm not into fundamentals they're pretty much a way for adults to shoot the bull, kind of like sports,

IronWillGiroud @ 8/16/2013 6:59 PM
and useless too
IronWillGiroud @ 8/16/2013 11:43 PM
you know, i'm 29 now and it took me about 28 years to figure out that trading is one of the Truths of Life, along with God, Wife and Family, and Squats.
IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 12:16 AM
so while i can't offer hot stock tips, i can offer my take on the recent usd/jpy action:

the red lines are resistance/support lines, or lines that identify zones where the price has a tendency to 'decide' in either direction,

it's looking like a clear drop to 96 at which point i'm looking for signals either way,

if it breaks something like 95.6 i'm gonna short and take it to 94.7 to play it safe, though you wouldn't blame me for wanting to ride it all the way to 94,

and i think the 94 will be the floor for this year and we can all start looking forward to testing 100 again,

forex is a great beginner market and i don't see why i wouldn't trade it later in my career too

IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 12:23 AM
if we zoom out a little bit and look at the greater trend, you see why i'm looking for a rebound to 100 and even above, dare i say 106, 108?

IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 12:24 AM
it's just a beautiful range from around march or april this year, so fat and juicy to enjoy a little bit more i hope,
IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 12:49 AM
now i'm looking at it maybe it will dance a little bit at 96 to 98, then zoom out of here!!
IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 10:13 AM
now this is really interesting, a great example of how prices move in patterns and how patterns repeat themselves,

in the following image, the red lines are the SAME lines i had drawn on the previous picture, the only difference is that this is from 2009!!!!!!!

you can see that it's moving in the same range today and hitting the same exact support and resistance points as it did in 2009,

IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 10:26 AM
where can i get a nice chart of HAUP
Nalod @ 8/17/2013 5:31 PM
Charts are hindsight.

Trading is not investing.

IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 7:07 PM
investing is long time frame trading
IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 7:30 PM
to be honest with you,

it's all investing,

trading is definitely investing because it's your money moving and grooving on its own, and that's what investing is, which is opposite of working with your time for an income

IronWillGiroud @ 8/17/2013 7:31 PM
and everything you ever need to know is in the charts, the prices,

there are an infinite amount of information sources tidbits and other fundamental analysis, it's an open field you can say anything you want,

but the one thing that never lies is the price, if you read the price you already have everything you need

A fool and their money are soon departed.....................

IN the end fundamentals win.
