Knicks · As Of Today, The Only Thing That Matters Is Getting Ready For Boston (page 1)

The Pacers, Bobcats and Hawks games are officially pre season games.

What I'm trying to say is it's almost certainly going to be Knicks-Celtics in the first round. Yeah. The Knicks will own home-court advantage, which they tell me is a nice thing to own. We'll obviously discuss the match-up at length once things are set. For now, this is your notice to begin getting duly excited and/or petrified and/or bloodthirsty and/or nauseated. I for one am likely to have tearful flashbacks, night terrors, and possibly a few convulsions over the next week or so. It's gonna be something.

- Seth Rosenthal

Mike Woodson has said he will give Anthony or any other Knick off if they need to rest. But he also has stressed winning as many games as possible and getting the second seed to assure the Knicks of one more home game.

- AL Iannazzone

“It’s still a little bit sore. I’m just taking it day-by-day, trying to get ready for round one.”

- Kenyon Martin

We have won 52 games and playing with confidence and cohesion. Martin, Chandler sit the rest of the season. If he is healthy enough, Rasheed Wallace should get cameo minutes in Atlanta. After this afternoon, Carmelo and Earl should alternate sitting out one of the final two games. Get healthy my friends.

Beat Boston.

A. Is the Pope Catholic?

Kevin Garnett has been back on the court since April 7. Over his last three games he is shooting 63 per cent.

in this case it will be a challenging series but i like our chances,

the problem is that kg eats into the mind of carmelo, let's hope our guy is hardened after this recent hot streak

He'll be fine. We played them a week later after that game and won with Melo playing a good game.

KG will have other Knicks to worry about too and not just Melo. This is gonna be a challenge but the Knicks SHOULD win this series. The Celtics won't go down easy tho. They never do. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Rest Jason Kidd. Carmelo can play a quarter in Atlanta. Ray Felton needs the rest. Earl Smith is exhausted but will never show it. His minutes per are the third highest on the entire roster. We need him with fresh legs and as few bruises possible. The Celtics are certain to attack him.

Get the ball to Novak and Copeland for target practice Wednesday.

Quentin Richardson starts.

Our scrubs play with more passion than the Hawks starters, who are going through the motions.

54 wins is a nice round number
