Need to get the crowd out of this early. It goes without saying that emotions will be riding high in Boston tonight. I don't want to have to count on the defense holding Boston to under 30 in the second half again - need to bring the intensity from the get-go.

I don't see us winning this one mainly due to the emotional boost for boston + nba ref's. You'll be able to tell if the game is rigged early on as they'll call Melo for 2 quick fouls.
Putting that aside, we need to get our offense back on track- game 2 was better than game 1 in that we had several players have a little scoring run before passing it onto the next guy. Still it would be nice if more than one player was capable of scoring at any one time.
Although I'm not optimistic, I'd love, LOVE us to sweep Boston!

I hope we sweep or win in 5 because it looks like the Pacers are gonna make quick work of the Hawks and they will be full rested so i would like to end this tonight because winning game 3 will pretty much end boston's season

We protected homecourt, but that wasn't all that surprising. This here is a statement game, you simply know that Boston is going to come out strong and they will fight to the last breath. This game IS Boston's whole season. Let's put our foot on the gas !

This is the most important game. If they win they get all the momentum. If we go up 3-0 its pretty much over

Even if the Knicks lose today, I expect them to win in 5. Anything could happen but the only teams that I think will challenge us are Miami and the top 3 or 4 from the west. Maybe Indiana but I think we're significantly better than they are.

Any updates on Garnett. I read yesterday that Doc didn't have him practice because if he got hit/bumped his injury was very painful.

Garnett is not going to be close to 100% so we should take advantage of that. Time for Tyson to step up. I understand he is getting over some rust but if tyson is on his game this game will be ours

I agree, Knicks win tonight and Boston will have the weight of the world on their shoulder for Sundays game. Boston wins tonight, they have enough momentum/heart to make it very tough Sunday. Get Garnett in foul trouble again, hold down Pierce and the young guys will wilt under the playoff pressure.

Need to start the PnR going early in the 1st. Also, late in the game the Celtics started trapping MElo will they continue that or gho back to playing him straight up. Melo had 71 points on 57 shots and the rest of the team has 107 points on 107 shots. I also hope that Copeland, Novak, and Chandler can wake up. The trend tends to be that the role players step up at home but hopefully the knicks role players can step up away from NY. Not calling Tyson a role player.

C'mon Knicks, make it 3-0 and you're pretty much in the 2nd round...just need to keep up the defense and hopefuly have a better offensive performance. Ray-ray, Melo, K-Mart and JR are gonna be key.
