In the interview J Givony the guy who runs draftexpress and Seth Davis were telling you that in Chicago--he was blowing by his defenders--does that sound like a slow guy? He cant run like a Larkin but hes also 5 inches taller 30 pounds heavier. He's got good basketball speed and hes a skilled ballhandler and distributor. Look at almost any advanced statistical analysis and Nate is a top 20 player--he grades behind Larkin Williamd and Burke--but those guys will all be gone. Nate Wolters is very likely going to be close to the BPA and very likely the best PG available. In advanced stats Burke Williams Larkin went 3-8 11 and Wolters 22. Next guy was like 7 spots away.

If Larkin and Goodwin are taken before 24 then I guess we could take Wolters. My problem with him seems like his lack of ability to stay in front of quick guards. If he is all that is available at 24 then I'm fine but otherwise I go small with Larkin. Speed kills in the NBA. It's the difference between Lawson and Augustin.

Alot of teams are going to pass on Larkin because he is 5' 10" with an average wingspan. BTW, I dont think Larking is starting material in the NBA either.

none of these kids are starting material...lol...thats the problem with this yrs draft. at this point your just looking for someone who can add depth youre team...none of these draft pics will be impact stars next yr...

with that said, larkin is the perfect spark plug off the bench and is perfect for what the knicks need...an up tempo PG who can play defense...i doubt hell slip to use tho

Larkins 44 inch vert can make up for his height.

in about 2 years, this guy could be the "next Hassam Whiteside" if he continues to work on his the strengths of his game in shooting and weakness's on lack of speed/quickness/athleticism, ball handling, penetration/finishing with contact, mid range/floater, and especially his DEFENSE

maybe he will not be able to be a starting G but maybe a change of pace backup G

so like Whiteside, just give the kid some more time, though Whiteside had physical abilities/talent and lacked maturity, BIG man skills, and the size/strength as a child the became a man with a lot of hard work in the gym

Btw,
I am not knocking Briggs, just saying maybe this kid just needs to work on his weakness's and find his role for the NBA, just might happen down the future
Maybe by 2017, we can lock him in to a 2-3year deal for the minimum and he could be a fit in the Triangle while being a STEAL
