Ricky Ledo--I know him because CT tried drastically to get him(he also played at South Kent in CT)-they thought he was a SG version of Rudy Gay but with a better jumpshot. He went to Providence and never played 1 minute because he was academically ineligible. Didnt know he was even in the draft?

I just want the Knicks to take best player available at our slot.
Maybe he could be a player for us in a few years.

I read a while ago that he was considering it earlier this year. Ledo iss older and,given the league's scouts current obsession with upside, probably felt the pressure to leave now. He kind of reminds of Deshawn Stevenson in high school. Of course, Stevenson had to alter his playing style a lot in the pros. I dunno...I still say we should go with size in this year's draft.

Yeah Uconn has been a college that has been a great school of judging talent. I went back and looked up some posts where they had Ricky the 3rd best prospect in 2012 comparing him to a SG version of Rudy gay(and they recruited him very hard). To compete one on one with John Wall--to be able to block John Wall's shot 1-1 not many people can do it. Certainly a compelling player if we start saying who is the best player available for the long term at any position. This kid is 6-7. We could conceivably trade our 24 pick and drop back into the 2nd round and stab him in the 40's and have a player who potentially has NBA lottery type talent.

He reminds me of a Crawford-type. Karasev is a guy we should look at too. Shooters are at a premium and he seems like an nba ready shooter with point-forward qualities.
