I feel for you Tyson. His offensive game relies on guard penetration too much.
We absolutely need to run more pick and rolls with Chandler. There were times in the season where Chandler and Felton were unstoppable in the pick and roll.
When you run the same(and only ) play, time and time again, people become wise to it and adjust. Chandler threw up one jump shot(which went in), all game long. his other offensive efforts are waiting for the perfect pass, or a missed shot that rolls off the rim, into his hands. This guy isn't showing much for a 10 year pro. Maybe a few years in college would have given him some other go to move, other than a dunk. Hibbert spending 4 years at Georgetown, perfecting his craft, is really starting to show.
If you perfect a play, then there's little defenses can do to defend it..malone and stockton ran the same play every single game and were very successful for the most part.
Rebound is effort, not skill, and when TYson, felton, jr, and melo have bad games, forgetaboutit.
Tyson has got to take 1000 jump shots a day this off season, or head straight to hakeems house for a one month tutorial.

Melo, JR, Felton, Kidd couldn't throw a rock in the river. Pablo is a pass first pg, so he's not looking to shoot. Melo and JR hold the ball too long, so they put everybody else on ice. Amari and Kenyon are post players.....With this combination of non-shooters on the floor, it's easy to guard pick and rolls. Melo and JR are not shooters....They are scorers....Thats a huge difference.
Novak and Copeland are shooters....they don't need to dribble the ball 100x just to make a shot. So the ball never sticks, and everybody starts to get a rhythm.
Kenny said it best on TnT......when Melo holds the ball too long, our offense stinks. We become too stagnant But when he makes quick decisions (4 seconds or less), he scores more, and the team scores more.

I agree with Kenny's assessment on most nights but the rest of the starting line up shot 7/25 in the last game and Melo only took 16 shots.

Not me. I HATE how Tyson's post-season has gone. I was looking more for an explanation than anything else. Like I said, I hadn't seen most of the half and Tyson's #s looked good and his activity level since I turned on the game looked good too.

Not me. I HATE how Tyson's post-season has gone. I was looking more for an explanation than anything else. Like I said, I hadn't seen most of the half and Tyson's #s looked good and his activity level since I turned on the game looked good too.
His energy was good but he had a tough time holding onto the ball and grabbing some loose balls right in front of him. Not the kind of game I would expect after he calls out his team. It is hard watching him get his shot blocked or the ball stripped when he has inside position. Especially when he speaks out to the media.
