Surprised at how few believe. If the knicks shoot >42% the Pacers can't beat them. Knicks have been missing too many open shots. That's starting to correct itself a bit.

Agree. Playing Cope, sitting Kidd, and JR hitting his shots helps a lot.

Knicks have to put pressure on the Pacers to keep up with them scoring. We want this to be an offensive battle and not a brawl in the paint. Keep the ball moving and their defenders chasing. Tonight the Knicks started to look like their selves. Gotta turn it up even more in Indy.

Looks like Woodson had an agenda for keeping this game changer energy bringing rookie from the Euro league from playing. He made the difference, so how will the Pacers try and account for him with other knicks scorers in the game at the same time ?

What most knicks fans have forgotten is this team was built to allow every component to function during a game whether it's being a defender or a 3 pt specialist etc...
When we sat Novak, we didn't replace him, therefore our offense became stagnant again with ISO ball, because one of our components to winning offensively wasn't being utilize.
When Copeland was inserted, it allowed other players like Felton, Prigs, J.R, Melo to have more room to drive with out help defenders stopping them in their tracks by creating turnovers.
Now when Copeland isn't playing , Novak should be inserted for a few minutes to keep defenses honest or pay the price by leaving him open. No more Kidd and Amare experiments unless the games is out of reach.
This is how Woody should tighten his rotation.

I've been calling for this kid to get more minute all year. The fact that Woody doesn't see what this kid brings to the game is shocking to me. Woody can't help it. Even tho he eventually opened things up from 3 this year, that wasn't really his original plan. He wanted more post up BB, but when STAT wasn't able to go and Tyson failed to add any post moves, they went with the perimeter game. That's fine, but Woody reverts to his old ways and that cost us games in the playoffs.
We've got to spread the floor and Cope gives us a versatile scorer to do that. Cope doesn't have to go off in order for him to have an impact. Just being on the floor he forces the Pacers to have to keep a defender by him. West can't stay inside clogging the paint!!! I'd love to see Novak get some minutes for the same reason. We need room for Felton, Melo and JR. to operate and you can't do that with Kidd on the floor.

I'll take it a step further.....We would've won the damn game.
Pacers don't have an answer for Cope when J.R and Melo and Felton are on the court at the same time. West can't guard Copeland on the perimeter.
