You are not wrong but the refs were not good all series. The definitely favored Indy's style. Ny could not play the same way. The constant barking at the refs ALL F#@#ing season may have something to with it.

We still could have and should have won. Woody was slow to adjust his bad plans, and JR and Tyson and J. Kidd were no-shows.

Game 6 Iman scores 16 in a quarter and doesn't shoot again for the rest of the game. Part of that is the refs with the BS foul calls, the other part coaching.

Listen, I know the Knicks had their faults. I've even mentioned that the Pacers are the deeper team. But its ridiculous IMO to sit here and pretend like the refs did not have an overwhelming impact in the dictating who won the game, which wasn't based on merit.

No one said that the league is rigged and since I was the one to suggest foul play was at hand, I'm going to assume this sarcastic comment is directed at me. Re-read what I said. If you do, then you'll see that I think the refs were dirty and dirty shit happens even if guys at the top are not involved. My case and point was Tim Donaghey who was supposedly a lone wolf. So save the sarcastic remarks until you follow what is being said.

Right. The NBA desperately wanted the small market NY Knicks to lose to the large market Indiana Pacers to setup the greatly anticipated Miami-Indy ECF.

For a large market team they got jack to show for banners.
