Right. The NBA desperately wanted the small market NY Knicks to lose to the large market Indiana Pacers to setup the greatly anticipated Miami-Indy ECF.

Exactly. League knows the ratings for the ECF will be much higher if the most populous city in the country isn't represented.

As I told the other dude, corruption/misdeeds isn't something that only takes place at the very top of a power structure. Tim Donaghey was a dirty ref and was supposedly a lone wolf.
The refs didn't cost us the game. They just limited our margin of error. The same bad habits we played with all year came back to haunt us in the end..

I think we got screwed on a few calls, yes. But, like the others are saying, we are supposed to be better than the Pacers. If the margin of loss was the refs, then we didn't do our job. When you let the refs decide the game, you've already lost.

What annoys me the most is the way the refs blatantly changed the way they call the game to specifically accommodate a player (Roy Hibbert). How is that legit? Nice, I didn't know that there are shot charts for individual games. That really tells the story. Also though, we lost 4-2. That means we had to intentionally foul them more often which also throws off the final numbers.

I find there is a big difference between Moore and Berger. I agree that Moore seems to have a bit of an anti-knick bias.

Moore mentions that the refs don't hate the grizzlies but are calling the game tight inside. My guess is the refs won't hate the pacers in the conference finals but will, 'call the game tight inside'.
