Great effort by all the players this year. Imagine what would have happened f only Mellow had'nt been injured!
Special congratulations to the whole Knick management team especialy Jim Dolan for putting together this great season. This is something we can really build on - the best is yet to come!

look... this is fair on most levels. Knicks made a ton of money last year. They won 50+ games. Won the Atlantic. Advanced in the postseason. They did so getting nothing from the other $20mm franchise player they have.
If Im not a Knick fan.. if this was say the Warriors or some team I could care less about and didnt follow at such a granular level I would tell fans of this team that it was good year. Nothing from Amare, team wins 50 games, MElo wins scoring title, Knicks get to round 2 and lose in six. It was a good year. If you expected more you werent being realistic.

I think you could reasonably give the season a B+ (A- for regular season, B- for playoffs). That's better than the majority of seasons the last ten years, which ranged from B- to F--.
The season was a B. the problem is that a B is our ceiling fir at least the next 2 years. Notice I said At Least.
i broke this down for the people, this season was an f, because they failed,
it ended in a burning crash into a mountain,
jr smith snorted us out of the playoffs, tyson didn't help with his pansy defense, melo dropped buckets though and woodson was frozen in an igloo

Actually, come to think of it, I do kinda agree. We caught a lot of lucky breaks, despite the injuries, including David Lee suspension, teams sitting their stars, injuries for the other team at random times, and things like this. And the post season was disappointing. I'm going to change my vote to a B+ grade for the season and C+ for the playoffs. Overall: B. 6-6 record as a playoff run doesn't cut it for me.
