Melo gets blamed for a lot of things that happen to the Knicks on the court. I wonder what other things he is responsible for off the court. Global warming? Civil unrest in the Middle East? A ridiculous lag period between new episodes for season 5 of Breaking Bad? Justin Beiber's hair cut? Justin Beiber? If any of you have any information about the menace that is Melo and the ill deeds he has perpetrated on mankind, please come forward and share.....

Melo never gets blamed because its never his fault. Nobody ever complains about his play they rather tell us how the " others" failed him. He is the best thing since slice bread according to the Melo lovers and there are probably more Melo fans than Knicks fans. He doesn't need to improve of get better he is the perfect player.

On the real all these Melo threads are annoying. Sorry thread starter. Most threads turn into a melo thread so there is really no need to start a new one. I wonder if I started an OT thread about Ray Lewis how fast would it turn into a Melo thread?

It's *fair* to blame Melo for poor performance all year in all the non-scoring aspects of the game. The criticisms here are brutal but they all focus on areas of the basketball game that he actually is poor at.

Every other thread devolves into a Melo thread anyway, so whats the point in avoiding discussions about him? In one particular thread, I posted a 307 word response about LeBron/Miami Heat. I raised 4 different points about what another poster said, one of which was a 15 word criticism highlighting his/her hypocrisy in judging Melo's supporting cast and LeBron's for the team's overall performance. Somehow that comment, representative of only 4.8% of my post, became the only point of contention with what I said and the engine for all subsequent posts. It was so ridiculous that it made me want to make light of the situation and get some humor out of the unreasonable hate that Melo gets.

Sell Mooby as a superstar and lead the league in scoring even Melo lovers are left a bit underwhelmed. Melo had a great season, was 3rd in MVP voting and lead the league in scoring.

One can say he was a big part of winning 54 gams and into the second round.

Only Lebron James in the last 10 years can carry a team to the finals. Lebron is an all time special player. Melo one of this generations better players. SuperdooperStar he is not. Not a damn thing wrong with that.
