I think Wolters is a special talent (offensively). Normally, I want the PG to be able to defend. But, I wonder, is this kid that good on offense that his defense can be just adequate?
I don't know. He has great height, that might get him in trouble guarding quick guards in the NBA. But, looking at our team, Shump can guard the PG spot, Wolters the SG and we have a great center in the middle.
If we select a very good pg, what about Melo? Are we going to use the PG or are we going to go tons of iso? If we draft Wolters, we have to use him.
I'm been researching too...would be pretty awesome if the knicks were able to draft him. I think he might go higher. Tony Mitchell is the other guy i want. Would be nice to get two picks in the late first round
I would be okay with Wolters. I am really starting to warm to Erick Green. I saw some adanced stats which indicated that his assist numbers would have beend rastically higher if his teammates weren't terrible

what they are capable of doing in the college level does not mean you can translate it to the NBA, it is a complete different game
I think there is no question Walters can SHOOT but can he defend a position?
Is he a PG or a SG?
In the right system, with the right players, and in development, I believe it is possible that he can become a nice role player but NOTHING is guaranteed
I just don't think he fits well with the Knicks roster with his flaws, in addition to our weaknesses, and the other positions/needs/skill set that we must fill

I take issue with your mention Reddick and Jay Williams. Reddick is a very good pro who would start for almost every team in the league. Jay Williams played one year and then was in a motorcycle accident; we'll never know what he could have been. Should've mentioned Adam Morrison instead.
