they don't have the personnel for the triangle. you need a mediocre playmaker who can hit corner three, a solid post passer and shooter, and a wing or swing to be the engine of the offense.
Great Hire...assistant in L.A. and Indiana both successful places and results. He has a very good defensive mindset as to what he expects players to do on an individual basis, great eye at seeing things before they develop.
I expect Javele and Faried to improve dramatically as Lawson as a point guard.

He's not a triangle-only coach. He wont coach the triangle there.

There was an article talking very highly about Shaw saying he was very involved with developing some of the young guys on Indy. Nice hire. I know Denver wanted Doc but I think Shaw might be the better hire for their roster.

Congrats to Brian Shaw. Tough loss for Indy. He was huge in the development of Paul George, Lance Stephenson and even w coach Frank Vogel
