U should have made a new thread with the title. "All those who liked the Bargnani trade man up". Could have been a legacy thread like the Most Taylor thread.

Nah, I'd rather have a successful Knicks team than to gloat over something so petty. i didnt bump this thread btw, I'm just commenting on it.

I bumped it cause I am so damn bored.

Its not that backing this trade was the issue, its that the same like minded posters don't seem to be learning anything.

why even make that thread... nobody in this thread who now look foolish because they though it was a great trade are going to admit that they were fools.

ujiri had taken advantage of the knicks once before. it was crazy to do business with him again.

hopefully no one uses: "who could have seen bargs being injured so much" excuse

That's what made the Mo Taylor man up thread so great. And was the punchline of the joke. Plus it could have form lineage(boxing term) from Mo Taylor to Bargnani.

Not "will"..."has"

If you told me that Jose and Bargs weren't going to even start the 1st 13 games and 31 games into the season they wouldn't have even played together once, I would not have made the same prediction for the season. I certainly wouldn't say it's proof with all the other injuries on the roster either. It's been a complete disaster and I still don't know how things would've gone if they had a healthy start to the year as expected. We don't know if perhaps the team might have gotten off to a better start and developed some confidence and chemistry. I know that won't sit well with some, but that's how I feel.

No one could have foreseen that us giving up an unprotected first rounder would end badly- it has never happened before...
