Reading this raptors forum is interesting. When the news first popped they were surprised they were the ones getting the picks. Now they are wondering what else they can get from the knicks since the trade needs to be restructured. They are actually thinking they can get Shump since his contract makes the numbers work. I would say they are crazy but then again anything can happen.

nothing would surprise me. The Knicks Front office has been pretty terrible the past decade with trades nd james dolan is one of the dumbest owners ever

This deal could be expanded to include a 3rd team if they plan on dealing Chandler.
That way only combined outgoing and incoming salary will matter.

I don't mind the trade, but it seems rushed and not well thought out, almost like a knee reaction to the Boston/Nets trade

Thi is what the Knicks do for years. I mean Dolan doesnt make things easy especially since he is a moron. Dont get me wrong the Nets are kind of screwed in teh future but they made the right move for next year if they are going for it. They got 2 HOF players who have a ton of experience winning. We got a soft injury prone player who can score but not much else
