Ian Begley @IanBegley now As expected, the #Knicks have invited Tour'e Murry to training camp, a source told my colleague @JaredZwerling.
CrushAlot@ 7/28/2013 2:01 PM
Ian Begley @IanBegley 28m #Knicks sent 3 players & two 2nd-round picks for to HOU for Camby last summer. A year later, he's back with HOU. Awful transaction for NY.
This is truly a case where with the benefit of hindsight you can go back and trash a deal. If you go back and look at the preseason chats from last fall either Begley or Zwerling, possibly both called the Camby and Kidd acquisitions the two biggest of the offseason. One of them gave the nod to Camby as he could provide rest for Tyson without there being a let up on the defensive end.

Pretty much. The Camby move made sense when it happened. He was healthy for most of the previous 6 years and was productive. Didn't work out.
NYKBocker@ 7/28/2013 10:23 PM
Camby to Houston. Does that mean Asik is on the move?

After getting none stop gushing praise for the past few years, I think the Thunder have slowly been exposed as having cheap, cheap owners- they never really sign any decent free agents, traded away Harden, gave a rookie only 80% of the rookie scale (usually teams give them 120%) to avoid the luxury tax, and then turned around and whined for more money, getting the rest of the league's teams to pay $13 mil of Durants salary! On top of their screwing of Seattle fans, I really can't stand them. Sounds like Durant is getting frustrated with them too- apparently when asked what he thought of the Thunders offseason moves he said "I love it" and stormed off. Ha!

Looks like Branden Jennings to Detroit and Blair to Dallas
CrushAlot@ 7/30/2013 5:47 PM
The Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Brandon Jennings in a sign-and-trade deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Pistons are finalizing a three-year, $24 million contract with Jennings, sources told Y! Sports. Detroit will send guard Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Slava Kravtsov to the Bucks, sources said. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--piston...

Daye signed a two year deal with the raptors. I like daye and have always thought he would turn the corner and become a really good player. Not sure if this happens with the raps. It seems like he and Novak will be competing for minutes.

Al Iannazzone @Al_Iannazzone 31m The Knicks also have shown interest in 7-foot-2 center Hamad Haddadi. Nothing imminent there either.
CrushAlot@ 7/31/2013 9:53 PM
Haddadi looks really good in this game against the Rockets last year.

Rockets sign another 7 footer. Jordan Henriquez from Kansas State. Anybody familiar with this kid? Why can't we sign youngins like these? He looks like he has great foot work and protects the rim really well.
BRIGGS - You know anything about this kid?

not really..Jerome was a little clumsy and was heavier in the ass. This kid is more like a poor mans Ibaka minus the jumping ability.

thanks for the man-ass update, I wouldn't have checked that myself
Finestrg@ 8/1/2013 3:01 PM
Another good young signing by the Rockets. Looks like he needs some work but this dude was a productive rebounder/shot-blocker in limited mins. Blocked about 2 shots a game in only 16 mins per last year; about 2.5 in 20 mins a game the year before.
CrushAlot@ 8/1/2013 3:11 PM
Zwerling saying the Knicks want Humphries if the Celts buy him out. Said Hump has some interest in the Knicks as well.
