I guess the Blazers reported interest drove up the price to keep him.

Is it just me, or does that seem like an absurd contract for an okay role player???

His advanced stats are outstanding. San Antonio knows what they're doing.

Confirming @WojYahooNBA report: 4 yr/$56M offer to @andre by SAC. Iguodala deciding after "great meetings" w/DET, HOU, GS, ATL, per source

wow Iggy was smart to opt out. Gms will be Gms.

not so fast my friends.

That's odd.
4 yr, 56 mil is a ridiculous offer for him. I didn't think he'd get even half that much money.

i agree but if Melo is looking at a 4-5 year deal at 20-30m per year, I would much rather have Iggy at 15m per year than Melo at 22-25m per year, who make's other's around him better, is a slight triple double threat, and is a very good defender

Didn't see this here but saw on realgm in the Knicks forum. Apparently the Knicks are interested in Bobby Brown.

Kenyon Martin is receiving interest from the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Sours and Brooklyn Nets.

Via Chris Broussard/ESPN

If he's going to sign with another team,
I'd rather he head out West than to the Nets.

Hawks sign Korver to four year deal. Multiple sources reporting.
yellowboy90 @ 7/4/2013 10:02 AM

2 yrs at 2.5 million is a good deal if he accepts. That leaves the Knicks around 2 million left in the mmle to use.

Is it $2.5M/year or $2.5M total?

Hopefully for cope. It seems like most of the teams chasing cope would have to offer their mmle to get him. I read somewhere that a friend of his said cope is uncomfortable signing with the pacers because the Knicks just played them in the playoffs. Maybe he signs for one year so the Knicks can get his early bird rights. Smiths situation might help.
